This hotel was excellent as part of our tour package. If you get a room with a view, you can see the Shanhai pearl tower in the distance. The hotel is about 50 minutes outside of Shanghai, but if you don't want to get into the city, the nearby restaurants and shopping malls are nearby. The restaurant had a western section on the menu, which we loved after a week of traditional Chinese food. The front desk was helpful in arranging taxis for our leisure days so we could get into town or the next subway station. Although the beds are hard, the rooms are pleasant with large beds.

I would suggest this hotel if you have business in the area. We had a very nice suite in the hotel, the carpet might have been replaced, the rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was very spacious. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The city center of Shanghai is not accessible from this hotel unless you have business in the area. Take a subway and take an hour-long subway ride. Download the Didi app to the city center if you don't have traffic, but it could take longer. Breakfast was adequate. The Chinese cuisine appeared excellent, but I was not up for that early in the morning. My advice to the chef is to avoid placing croissants and bread under the warming lights as it makes it stale. Again, the restaurant staff was pleasant. Dinner buffet was adequate but not outstanding. We did linger in the area several times for dinner, but communicating was difficult. My biggest complaint was that the air conditioning did not work. When we arrived at the room at 7 a.m., it was cool, but in the morning it was humid and hot. They did provide us with an alternative room, which we did. We looked at the apartment and it was cool, but it was hot and humid in the morning. I believe they turn off the air conditioning overnight. I don't think they realize that it costs more to fall apart the structure than if it was kept on all night. We

This hotel has friendly personnel but the staff speaks very little English. The Breakfast has a wide choice but the staff is very Chinese given that most of the visitors are Chinese. The bed is quite hard and the room is clean, try to find a quiet room!

This hotel is not in the heart of Shanghai, but it is still a decent hotel with excellent amenities. The hotel was spotless and well-managed. For both breakfast and dinner, the buffet restaurant served a wide variety of both European and Asian breakfast foods. The coffee makers here were extremely slow and only served individual cups of coffee. The hotel is situated on the fringes of several commercial and residential districts with limited retail uses nearby.
