Arenal Waterfall Lodge

The property is located on 400 acres of mountain on the slopes of Cerro Chato Volcano, allowing a panoramic view of the valley and a perpendicular view of the Arenal Volcano from the path of the walk to the Laguna del Cerro Chato. In addition, the lodge is located only 300 metres from the Rio Fortuna Waterfall, which is one of the 2 main natural attractions of the Arenal Volcano Fortuna after the volcano. This small Lodge is based on sustainable development and the environmental awareness of its owner and his team, who aim to use natural resources in a friendly way, providing 100% of food production from organic sources and using hydropower. It has rooms for families or individuals with all basic and necessary services, with access to the pool and other hotel facilities, as well as activities that are designed to leave a minimal impact on the forest and the animal species that live there. There are 13 accommodation units including 1 villa at this eco hotel that was fully refurbished in 2011. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange, cloakroom and newspaper stand. Guests can wine and dine in the café, bar and restaurant. Conference facilities, wired and wireless Internet access, room and laundry services, and a car park also feature. All of the units are en suite with a shower and hairdryer. Double or king-size beds are available.
