We stayed here one night due to getting to play golf late in the evening and having to wait for a ferry to Pa the next day. Our room was very clean with amazing views of the marina. The food was also delicious, as was the service.

The vibe here was really cool, and it has 5 stars because of the very caring employees. And the restaurant was very accommodating to your dietary requirements and prepared the food for you. The helpfulness here was incredible, and everything from breakfast to dinner was so much fun.

Our meal at the fish hook marina was served while we waited for a boat to drive us to one of the lodges in the Gulf. The food was very tasty text-style fair but also with some Costa Rican specials. The beer was great and cold.

Ive stayed at the fish hook twice now and have enjoyed it greatly. First off, the marina aspect. Excellent dock employees and facilities. Everyone involved in docks and other services was extremely helpful. Jose in particular is a great, hardworking individual who was always eager to help. The restaurant and bar were excellent. My crew and I consumed about 20 meals, and each one was delicious. I tried the escudo fritz suggestion from manger Michael, and it was the finest Ive ever eaten. Also, the service personnel were excellent, which is not uncommon in these parts. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious, some with views, and all with easy access to the bargaining room and docks. Then there are Chris and Michael. These guys are the best. They are incredibly nice and helpful, making this location the best it is. Another important benefit for me, as a guy who doesn't speak much Spanish, is that everyone I dealt with spoke excellent English. I have no bad words about this location, and as someone who has spent 20 years in hospitality, I have no recommendations! Fantastic location, period.

The view from the restaurant was spectacular. The food and service are typical but not great at all. They have a huge menu with all kinds of drinks.
