What a gem! The thoughtful layout of the property gave us both lush garden pool vibes + beachfront infinity pool nestled in the bustling boutique area of Tamarindo. The rooms are adequate. We indulged on one with a hot tub and patio which was so perfect for the occasional passing rain. Absolutely beautiful grounds, exceptional service, perfect location. And the food was literally gourmet every night. Breakfast, which is also included, was a display of choice both hot and cold. We rented a car and appreciated the secure lot just adjacent. Brilliant stay!

I travel the world and rarely want to go back to hotel because there are so many others to see, but Jardin del Eden had everything I was looking for in a boutique hotel for my adult son and I, and I will return. I felt like it was a boutique Four Seasons without all of the stuffiness. The food was top quality and while breakfast and dinner were provided, it did not have an all inclusive feel. The menu, quality of food and presentation were superior. The rooms and grounds were so well maintained, beyond what I expected. The staff were always professional, smiling, sincere and so friendly. I was recommended Jardin by some friends and will recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay at this adults-only boutique hotel. While in the downtown, this hotel felt like a tropical oasis. The pools, gardens and walkways were peaceful and created a very romantic atmosphere. (We met many couples on their honeymoon during our stay.) The hotel included breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a free mimosa station. The dinner menu changed daily, we were given the menu at breakfast and would then place our orders for the evening. (A vegetarian menu was available every day.) Drinks at dinner were not included. Overall, the food was good. There was a nice path from the hotel to the downtown and beach club. We tried a few local restaurants for lunch (highly recommend the Falafel Bar) and also ate lunch at the beach club (the chicken nachos were delicious!) The beach club had a great beach bar with nice views and drinks. Yoga (as well as other activities) were complimentarty and offered throughout our stay. We tried a yoga class and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Our room was dated but clean, our balcony had a beautiful view of the grounds and ocean. This hotel is a solid choice for Tamarindo.

We stayed 6 nights. I can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10. The best place we’ve ever stayed. Friendly staff, amenities were far beyond what we paid. I did sunrise yoga 3 mornings out of 6 and they were fantastic every time. The sound healing session was amazing. The food is the best food you will have EVER. Different menu every night and it never disappointed. The pools were fantastic, beach was amazing. It didn’t rain once the whole week we were there despite the forecast saying rain everyday. We had the superior ocean view which was fantastic ocean view with beautiful sunset views. It’s a great location walking distance from lots of shops, food, beach, nightlife and markets. The service was impeccable, grounds were well maintained and clean and the staff were overtly friendly and personable. Trust me when I say that the price of this resort is well worth it and you won’t find another one like it in Costa Rica.

A hidden gem — peaceful paradise in the heart of Tamarindo Jardín del Edén feels exactly like what you’d imagine a tropical resort to be: a quiet, lush oasis tucked away from the noise. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, full of greenery, and genuinely serene in a way that’s hard to find. The hotel has no direct beach access, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from the experience. The grounds more than make up for it. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable — nothing overly flashy, which fits the vibe perfectly. Food is really good, and having breakfast and dinner included is a great perk. The hotel also offers wellness activities almost every day, which is a lovely touch. The concierge team deserves a special mention — they’ll help you arrange any tours and handle the logistics so you can just enjoy your time. Location-wise, you’re right in the middle of everything: shops and restaurants are steps away, and the beach is only a 5-minute walk. It’s not the most dramatic beach in Costa Rica, but the sunsets and sunrises are absolutely worth it. A wonderful place to recharge. Highly recommend it.

Amazing experience, superior ocean view was amazing. Every single staff member was sooo attentive and literally did everything n to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast is not a basic breakfast like the ones at a Marriot, it's like actually going to a restaurant every morning with different options. I also didn't know the dinner was included as well so this helps save some money. Then you walk down to the beach and the beach bar is right there with a great bartender Kevin who will take care of everything like he knows you for years. Truly great great experience. I cannot imagine why someone would not give this 5 stars.

It was a beautiful place to stay at. It was hidden from everything it felt like you were all alone in a jungle or in a forest. It was beautiful. The people that worked there were excellent. They helped you with any needs you had I love the beach area across the street. Everything was very secure. I’m looking at going back.

Jardin del Eden is the perfect location in Tamarindo. private, but still close to everything. We were able to walk the entire town easily. The private beach area is amazing, especially for watching the incredible sunset. Definitely have a chiliguaro while you’re there! Breakfast each morning had your regular breakfast options, but we can’t complain. Dinner was different every night and very good. The air conditioning worked great, which was a must with the crazy Costa Rica heat. I would definitely stay here again!

Best vacation we’ve had. Definitely recommend. From the hotel staff, to the food and drinks, to the beach area! It’s a memorable trip for my wife and I! Very quiet other than Saturday when the city music is super loud and goes thru all of the city. Not much the hotel can do that’s Tamarindo for you! Will be back

The breakfast was super good! The dinner was also included and very delicious. The property is beautiful and I had a great view of the ocean from my balcony. The walk down to the beach is only 2 minutes and the private area is great. The resort is small enough that there is not too many people around. It is also right next to the downtown area.
