We loved staying at Maranez Oceanfront Resort!!! We cancelled another place to stay an extra night and would have stayed more if we could have!!!! There's a gorgeous beach steps away from any part of the resort. The Staff were amazing... so sweet, friendly, helpful and professional. Muchas gracias, Renzo and Caroline 🥰 (They also speak English very well.) Our room was beautiful with an ocean view from our porch. We couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere to rest, relax and appreciate the ocean. Unbelievable sunsets every night, too. Cannot wait to come back!!!!! Asta luego, Maranaz... ❤️

Wonderful beachfront hotel. Tranquil and relaxing. Good restaurant for breakfast and the evening and if you have a car there are many roadside restaurants and bars close by. We did have a slight hiccough in that on arrival for a one week stay, we found out that our last night was a double booking. However, thr hotel put us up for that last night at a very nice closeby hotel that they also owned. Not ideal, of course, but the hotel staff handled the whole thing very professionally and helpfully, sometimes you just have to roll with the hiccoughs on holidays and the staff made it almost seamless.

Excellent food and service , staff very friendly. Close to the beach. The one negative was lots of bonfires on and off site but left a horrible smell which stopped us been able to sit outside a couple of nights. Would be nice to have a shuttle bus to local amenities for those not hiring a car.

This place is beautifully located. We had a hard time finding it due to it still operating under the previous name. Long beach out front with nearly no people. Saw a sloth, Macaws, parrots and vultures. The food and smoothies were excellent, the mahmahi to die for.

Aside from having magnificent views of the Pacific and all the benefits of ocean air and breezes, the staff was gracious and helpful at every step. This is an undiscovered paradise that makes me regret saying all this for fear that it will become discovered.

El lugar es bonito pero se ve que está en proceso de recuperación. Los cuartos están muy bien y la ubicación justo al frente de la playa es espectacular. La mayoría de habitaciones están muy bien ubicadas. La atención del personal fue excelente, siempre atentos y rápidos para atender cualquier solicitud. Todo muy limpio y el desayuno estuvo bien. Tiene un gran potencial y se ve que están haciendo un esfuerzo enorme por recuperar la propiedad en su mejor nivel. Buena relación precio calidad.

No hicieron upgrade y el hotel tenía disponibilidad, se podía ver en la página de expedía , entregaron la habitación tardíamente Piscina con mal mantenimiento y alrededores muy sucio Ubicación muy buena muy bonito la playa Muy pocas sillas en la piscina si llegan más huéspedes no tendría donde estar

I will start with the good: nice, quiet location with beach access and good-size rooms with nice furniture and good beds. Courteous and helpful employees. The bad: the road to the resort is in extremely poor conditions, with 8 ft. diameter potholes that made driving there very difficult. At one point we thought we had taken the wrong turn...Water in rooms not potable (in spite of there being a coffeemaker) and no notice to warn guests. Restaurant is mediocre and mostly seafood and the kitchen is understaffed, so on Christmas Eve we had to wait 30 minutes in between dishes. It claims to be a resort, but there are no activities for guests (except for massage, which was good), which is a shame, because with such a nice beach it would have been great to do yoga, or surfing lessons, or paddle-boarding. No on-site shop for snacks or necessities, and we were lucky to have a rental car to go to the next town to get our shopping. Under good management, this place could be great...
