Me and my mom loved so much staying here that we ended up extending for 2 more nights! The property is beautiful, and you can see lots of birds and monkeys. The room was spacious, clean with great beds and shower! It had a beautiful decoration and nice hammocks to relax! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the chef Junior is the best! The beach is just a 5 minutes walk and is so beautiful and tranquil! The staff was so kind and helpful, we loved everyone! Sandra also helped us a lot, making reservations and giving excellent tips and advices! They also have two dogs that are so cute and sweet! Try going one day for lunch or dinner to soda Olguita, delicious, fresh and cheap local food! It doesn’t have a sign, but it’s right after toñitos restaurant, just ask around! We miss every second and we hope to come back soon!

Wall-to-wall Howler monkeys-great alarm clocks! We were the ONLY guests during our stay. Dusty rough roads but hotel was great.

El servicio fue tan personalizado, y el ambiente tan pacífico, lo recomendaríamos con gusto! Junior el chef nos hizo desayunos magníficos, y Sandra en la oficina nos ayudó a llamar unos tuk tuks - los dos de ellos son muy amables. La única cosa que diría es que sepa que está en un lugar un poco remoto, así que es bueno tener su propio carro, moto u otro transporte - o aprovechar de los tuk-tuks. The service was so personalized, and the vibe so peaceful ... We'd recommend this place! Junior, the chef, was super kind and easy to talk to, and made us amazing breakfasts each day, and Sandra in the office helped us with the tuk-tuks - both of them are really nice people! The only thing I'd say to be aware of is that the hotel is in a bit of a remote area, so it helps to have your own transportation - or take advantage of the tuk-tuks to get around.

Very gracious and helpful staff, Jose, Gloria, and Deborah..a short hike to Playa Pelada, where you can walk the beach for miles. I reccomend getting a Tuk Tuk driver(we had Ulysses) who took us everywhere on a homegrown tour of the area. Will definitely come back to this charming retreat resort.

We stayed at Nosara retreat for 3 nights. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was an issue with our room's fridge (which, honestly, we probably weren't going to use) and as a result we were immediately upgraded to a villa. The beach, which is wonderful, is an impossibly short walk away, and you're a 10 minute walk from Boca Nosara, which offers kayaking/horseback riding/4x4's.

The condition of the room is clean and cozy, and the location is close to the beach, the service is good and well maintained, the pool facilities are very good and I even can see the view from the room. The owners are very good and the condition is good, they also have a nice swimming pool too.

I spent a week in the Casita with my husband and had a great time. The surroundings are lovely, the beach is beautiful, and the staff is really nice and helpful. We enjoyed the gardens, the delicious breakfast, and the proximity to the beach. We love Nostra Retreat and will return soon. Until then, I will have to be content listening to Flora Martinez on Notify to help me remember. Pure vida!.

Nostra be retreat is the ideal place for both solo travelers and families. The grounds are a stones throw from the beach, the best beach in nostra, and the location is hidden from the hustle and bustle of life. This allows you to immerse yourself in nature. This was a truly unique place. Breakfasts are delicious, and every room has the option to prepare your own food. There is a jungle will with yoga, and you feel like you are part of the family. I always return to nostra, and I will always return here because it has such great energy and amenities. If you like being in nature and having all your needs met by a caring and loving team of staff, this is the place to go. It is also very good value for the money. The food is great, and the rooms are clean and made beautiful. Thank you so much for such a great experience. I only reserved for two weeks, but ended up staying for six because it was difficult to leave.

I just got back from an incredible, relaxing and rejuvenating yoga retreat. The rooms are new, clean, and nestled in the jungle while being only 5 minutes from the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is healthy, fresh, and delicious. I particularly liked the outdoor yoga studio and the wonderful yoga teacher. I would love to come back.

I went to Nostra I and I on March 16 with my 2 adult daughters. We needed a spot to unwind and do yoga. We had a great time. The setting was very serene and authentic. A constant bird song, howling monkey choruses, and a gentle breeze were all present. The rooms were simple but clean, and I loved all the white cotton on the beds and windows. The food was varied and delicious. Our requests were fulfilled. The junior's energy and stoic grin made dinnertime enjoyable. We attended two yoga classes a day. Sare was a fantastic teacher. She struck the ideal balance between a friendly and personal approach and an hour of commitment-based practice. She took good consideration of our needs and expertly integrated them into the class. I would love to go back to this place.

Great small place to get away. Close to beach but will need to drive to get anywhere else. The on-site chef is AMAZING! Best 2 and 3 meals we ate while all over in CR for 2 weeks. Only downside is no A/C which made the nights a bit less comfortable in high summer.

Fantastic hospitality from Sandra at reception and terrific breakfast from the chef. Both of them made the stay worthwhile. Now the minor gripes: there were a few bugs that kept appearing in the room, there was no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom (only soap/handsoap), and the BnB is about 15 mins drive from the main hub in Nosara. There are 3 or 4 restaurants within 15 min walk but if you want more selection, you need a car or taxi.
