Our experience was delightful! Beautiful views from the restaurant! I like the idea of separate swimming pools. One for family and the other one for adults. We had a stand room with the view of the jungle towards the street. The beds were firm which was uncomfortable first nights. But I loved to hear the early birds and the howling monkeys! We also stayed the night in a superior ocean view to experience the difference. I could hear the air conditioning sound off the second floor next to the balcony. It was annoying to me. Pro is the ocean view and restroom size and perhaps better bed. I prefer the standard room looking towards the jungle! I wish it was all inclusive hotel. Since it was not, we ate at the local restaurants and used Uber. I would return to this hotel. Everyone was friendly! Pura Vida!

I came to celebrate my graduation with my two best friends, and I absolutely fell in love with the views from the hotel. Most importantly, the staff was genuinely and honestly super kind and helpful. Jael at the front reception was so helpful with ordering us taxis and giving us information. The bartenders, Sydney and Derek, were top-notch, and we absolutely loved the happy hour special and the delicious mint mojitos. Also, a huge shout-out to Johnny for always giving us fresh towels and making us laugh every time we passed by. I will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you Shana for a memorable trip that I will never forget

The staff is so friendly and helpful. We fished one day during our stay and caught a yellow fin tuna. We brought some back, after giving some to our crew, and they prepared it for us. My son and husband said it was delicious. The property is beautiful and there is access to a beach but be prepared for a hike down.

the location was very beautiful with great food. The staff were always on hand and were quick to provide great service when needed. The land itself is a bit difficult to walk around because of so many hills(even going from the rooms to the pools is a hill) but there are several golf carts to help carry people around when required. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from a wonderful cove with a small reef and kayaking. A great vacation overall

We stayed in room 206 on the lowest floor and had the best time! The breakfast in the morning was top notch! Coffee tasted great! The service at Shana was impeccable! We saw monkeys, iguanas, lizards, sloths, crabs, macaws, ant eater! We ventured off at night to the beach with headlamps and saw so many critters! We ate at EL ANGEL sodas (10 min drive from SHANA) AMAZING PRICE N FOOD

The hotel can be challenging if you have mobility issues as there are no elevators but they have carts if you need them on the steep inclines. Good location, beach is nice and not as hard to get to as some reviews said. Breakfast was great and included. Meals were good but I recommend venturing out for a few meals. La Cantina didn't disappoint. Loved our stay overall and would come back.

We had an amazing stay at Shana Hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The location was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the entire property was very clean and well cared for. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made a big difference. The rooms were spacious and everything from the food to the amenities exceeded our expectations.

The perfect hotel for a romantic, fun getaway. The mountainside location and lush rainforest surroundings- plus an easy jaunt to a beautiful beach make this the perfect hotel to experience Quepos, Playa Baisanz, Manuel Antonio National Park and tons of nearby restaurants, shops, etc. The restaurant was great- breakfast buffet, dinner- everything. Can't wait to return.

We had a great time at Shana. We got an ocean view room with a beautiful view on the 3rd floor. We had enough space and everything was very clean. Breakfast was a good variety and pretty tasty. The pools were great - it was especially nice having a quieter adult pool. The beach is a short 10 minute walk downhill. It might be a bit harder if you have mobility restrictions. The hotel is hilly, which wasn't a problem for us. They have golf carts running around giving people rides if they have mobility restrictions. Overall the staff was always very friendly and helpful, and we had an amazing time here.

Wonderful place. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staffs. They have golf carts help us to go up and down since the hotel is on a hill. Security guard are very attentive. We met the animals living among us( monkeys and iguanas, birds). I am very pleased to pick this hotel!
