Having breakfast delivered each morning is very nice. Room was spacious and very nice. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. 10 min walk to the heart of town. Many surfers to watch on the beach loungers. Wonderful hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

Very close to the beach, regularly cleaned and access to water within steps. Food choice for lunch and dinner was great (many restaurants within walking distance). Staff very very helpful in arranging for anything you might need. Highly recommend this hotel!

The Coast is a special property! The front desk staff are friendly, professional and always willing to help. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and even have a dehumidifier, beds and linens are very comfortable, the breakfasts are an added bonus and so good. The grounds are well maintained by a caring staff - everyone there works so hard! It was a wonderful stay and incredibly hard to leave.

We liked the atmosphere here. We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff took really good care of everything. It was a refreshing escape. We had the most amazing view of the ocean!! The staff was really polite and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, always fresh fruit and banana and lemon cake.

My fiancee and I chose the Coast to get married after staying thee a couple of times in the past. the entire experience was unbelievable, our friends also enjoyed the property and the staff immensely. Everhyone went out of their way to insure that everything was perfect, it's the only place we will stay in Tamarindo.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The beach access was so convenient. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but I especially want to recognize the gentleman at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Unfortunately, I never got his name, but he was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel genuinely cared for. His excellent customer service made a great trip even better. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with exceptional service!

It was such an amazing stay. We’re missing the morning breakfasts :) Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to rest, close enough to restaurants, grocery stores and is literally on the beach. This place is fantastic! The view is amazing. We watched the sunsets every night. There was also a lot of surfers put front everyday. Our airport conditioner broke and within an hour they had installed a new unit. Breakfast was also a nice touch. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very clean, well equipped and exactly to our taste. The grounds were immaculately cleaned daily. We were very pleased to see 24 hour a day security in the front and beach side of the building. We extend our highest praise for the front desk staff. Jerry, Stephanie and especially Deiyan could not have been more pleasant and helpful. They made us feel at home with each interaction. They are fantastic assets to the hotel. Our only complaint is that we selected the Coast Hotel is because we came to CR to visit our kids and grandkids who live 2 minutes away from the hotel but for some inexplicable reason they were totally restricted access to the grounds, let alone to even visit us in our room. This is the very first time we have ever experienced this type of restriction.

The Coast is a small hotel within walking distance of the town of Tamarindo where you can walk down the beach 1/2 mile or the sidewalk along the road a 1/2 mile town. There are around 10 rooms that are basic hotel rooms with nice showers and a little kitchenette. Then there are 6 to 8 rooms that face the beach on the beachfront part of the property. There is a nice pool in the middle. There is breakfast each morning brought to your room but no other food or drink on the property. There are restaurants all around and a grocery store and liquor store a very short walk away towards town. The staff a very friendly and helpful, the beach area is nice and the property in general is very quiet and relaxed.

Very nice small hotel with comfortable rooms right on the beach. They bring you a nice breakfast every morning to the room. It is a little further like a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tamarindo but many options next to it.

I had an amazing stay at The Coast in Tamarindo. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout my entire trip. The property was always clean, comfortable, and had a very relaxing atmosphere. One thing I really appreciated was the fresh fruit provided daily — such a nice touch that added to the overall experience. The location is also perfect. You are literally steps from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, shops, and activities, which made everything very convenient. As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe during my stay and had absolutely no issues at all. The combination of the location, friendly staff, cleanliness, and laid-back beachfront atmosphere made this a great experience from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Coast to anyone visiting Tamarindo.
