Great super central location in Zagreb, within walking distance of everything, Comfortable pod style beds that give lots of privicey when sharing a dorm. The only problem is the wet room showers, it's hard to keep belongings dry in there as there are no shelves.

Best location in Zagreb, right on main square. Pretty much can walk to all the attractions. Super friendly and helpful staff. I got the private room and it's just as good as a regular hotel. No toiletries but staff happily provided some for free from their stash.

Breakfast was basic but sufficient for free breakfast. I appreciated that it was constantly refilled. The staff cleaned everything often, some of the guests didn’t do their part cleaning after themselves but that was not the staffs fault. The manager and new staff member servicing the front were very pleasant. The elevator was so slow but it made for a great joke and helped us decompress after shopping and walking around all of the accessible sites everyday. So close to everything. Would definitely return.

Dorms had sleeping cubes instead of bunkbeds which i did not realise, but to be fair they are fairly big and comfortable, but ladder to top one is arkward if your are a bit older or infirm in any way. Breakfast was the basics as usual in hostels, not exactly awe-inspiring. I think overall it was okay but not cheap, you pay a lot for the surrounding area of bars and restaurants etc.

Downstairs main door is rarely closed or locked as they say it ought to be. One side of the property overlooks a road filled with bars, so won't be quiet until after closing time.

Falta limpieza en los espacios públicos como ducha, aseos, puede ser ruidoso por la noche. Personal amable, ubicación céntrica a dos pasos de todo (bares, museos, etc). Desayuno incluido es un . Salida a las 10 es -

Other than it is a challenge to find as it was tuck-away, Uber won’t drop you off right in-front of the hostel, you will still do some walking. The video on how to get there is a must to watch. Hostel was clean and free breakfast is a plus. But one separates this one is the proximity on all the major sites. It is literally few steps from the main square and super easy to get around on foot. I wish they add a mirror in the room though. I thought it weird to not have that.

MainSquare Hostel is located really central & you can reach all off Zagrebs’ sights from the hostel on foot. Whenever, the tram stops nearby the hostel. The price-performance ratio for my two night stay (4-shared room) was perfect. Only one thing were not good: It was really noisy/loud in the evening.

I had a very enjoyable stay here in the city centre which was very close to everything I wanted to see. The hostel was urban chic and well kept. The biggest benefit of the establishment without doubt, is the quality of staff including Lara,Ivana and Philip. They were always willing to help you in any way to make you happy and comfortable and their personalities most pleasant. In a city centre this can be difficult but this shows the quality. A credit to hostels.

This was fine for a hostel stay - it’s in a great location, stable wifi, and I liked the little cubicle for a bed rather than a standard bunk. The breakfast was also fine but there’s no eggs provided. My main problem was the bathrooms - 2 showers, 2 toilets for the entire hall was not it. There was no hot water. and at one point an old woman (maybe a guest, i’m not sure?) was sleeping in the changing room part with her entire wardrobe while she waited to wash her several bags of clothes in one of the two showers available. I also wasn’t a fan of the man who cleaned our rooms - didn’t knock before entering a female-only dorm and then didn’t close the door properly after he finished so anyone could walk in? it was just a really bizarre set of circumstances but everything else was fine.

Great location in Old Town. Free breakfast. Good kitchen facilities. Several couches for lounging. Cons: women’s bathroom completely insufficient for the number of guests. 2 showers 2 toilets no countertops.

Ok place, very central. Breakfast was very basic (white bread, jam, cheese and salami with some fruit and cereal). The rooms were ok, but it was so warm, the air was horrible and it was not allowed to open the windows. Wish they had curtains for your bed/cubicle. The bed was a little hard and clumpy. It's an ok stay for a few days.

okay stay, very central, but very big which makes it noisy and annoying, bathrooms are most of the times dirty, but kind staff. Very hard to find because of so few signs also has the world's slowest elevator. There is so little air in the rooms, so they smell a lot of sleeping "smell" anytime you enter.

The hotels.com listing was (and continues to be) wrong. We booked a room listed as "Comfort Double or Twin Room, 1 King bed", the listing shows only the king bed room but the room we received was the bunk bed. The AC unit was broken in our room so we had to sleep with the window open; this is not a location that makes that easy. Even with ear plugs I could not drown out the singing directly from the street below which continued past 3am. The front desk staff was very friendly, and they did lend us a fan to at least help cool the room down.
