Now that is has been a while since I left Havana I have to say that I miss it, but especially this place that I am reviewing here. Not only that it is the only affordable place I could find with a view from a window, but it is actually a place like home. That is especially due to Omar and his mother and their friendliness. Omar helped me several times when I had to overcome problems that Cuba mostly received from the unfair US sanctions. What’s more, I stayed at this place during the long blackout and there was still hot water in the shower and fresh air from the window. At the end of my stay Omar organised me a taxi to the airport which was one of the typical classical cars. You don’t need to look any further, this place is a home away from home

I dont care how little or how big yout budget is, BOOK THIS PLACE. safety is top tier. Right near the water and all thr major attraction, good food, pretty women, much historical sites... Rather you need church, quiet time or good night life, this is the spot for family or bachelor. I must add the host and hostess are AMAZING human being. God bless, they go above and beyond. Very clean, comfortable stay 6stars

This apartment is a place like home in Havana. Not only that it is clean, you have a window with a view over the local streets and even towards the bay with ships passing by, and it has all you need, except WiFi but you can rent a SIM card, but what is outstanding is the hospitality by Omar and his mother. He showed me most of Old Havana and he helped me to find places to buy something to eat. This place is even during a blackout still comfortable as there is a window that you can open when the air conditioning is not working, which is rare among affordable accommodation. I stayed at the place during the big blackout on all of Cuba in October 2024 and not only that I had the mentioned advantage, also here the power came back more often than in other parts of Havana or Cuba in general. What’s more, the Prado is close nearby, a nice place to walk. I will miss this place

Travelling is not always easy, especially in a country suffering from unfair sanctions. However, at least here in this apartment I had found a place like home. You don’t just get a cheap place to stay, you get a place where you can stay like a local and feel at home, and you get friendship. Me he alojado en este apartamento 3 noches. El apartamento está ubicado en 3 planta del edificio Bolivar, tiene cocina bien equipada. Se puede ver el mar desde el balcón. La anfitriona del apartamento es muy amable. Pude entrenar en el parque que está enfrente del edificio
