A really lovely rural hotel in the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, good parking by the room once you navigate the steep well signposted road up from the village. Beds were really comfortable with lovely clean being and so quiet, slept really well. Air conditioning and heating in the room was new and worked really well, very cosy. Nice short walk to the little gorge immediately up the road/track from the hotel. Dinner on the onsite tavern by the fire was lovely as was breakfast. All in all a great stay and good value. Recommended for a stay in the Troodos Mountains!

I booked the tavern 2 days prior to arrival. When I arrived around 4pm, I was surprised to be told that the tavern was supposed to be closed for the winter season. The host opened the tavern for us just for that 1 night we booked. The host was very nice. He called up his chef to get dinner prepared for us for 6pm and breakfast next morning. He ensured we had heat and hot water before he left the tavern to us at 9pm. Bathroom was a bit drafty at night when we took shower. But hot water was nice and hot. Wifi was poor. I guess we can't expect too much in the mountain. We slept early when there is nothing to do at night.

Excellent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The chef prepared local delicacies, they had fresh local produce. We enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the tranquility of the place.i would highly recommend it i any one.

Als je op zoek bent naar een fijne en gunstig gelegen locatie in het Toodros gebergte dan is het kleinschalige Ambelikos Traditional AgroHotel echt een aanrader. Mooi uitzicht, de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van dit gebied zijn makkelijk te bereiken, in iets meer dan een uur ben je in Nicosia. De gastheer is zeer hulpvaardig een geeft je goede tips voor de regio te bezoeken. De binnenplaats waar het ontbijt is, is heel knus. Het diner is niet heel erg bijzonder.

We had a fantastic four-night stay. The hotel is located in a village in the mountains. It is a very quiet and peaceful place with great home cooked meals including fresh fruit from the local orchards. The host is genuinely kind and helpful. The room is clean with good wifi. We thought we would have a quiet time enjoying the view from the balcony and chilling by the pool. But we ended up hiking and visiting the many tourist sites as there is lots to do in the mountain areas. If you like hiking, there are no shortage of trails and you will love it. Plus the view while driving on the country roads is just breathtaking. It was a great experience staying at Ambelikos; a traditional village in the countryside. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite stops on our Cyprus vacation. Very quiet, nice nature, good view. Would be perfect for cycling if your looking for hill workouts on mountain roads with little traffic. Run by a very nice and welcoming couple. Best breakfast omelette of our vacation! Can highly recommend a stay here!

We spent one night at Ambelikos AgroHotel and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by many fruit trees and even has a small pool. The room was very unique and the view from it was great. We have not visited the village itself but it does not seem very interesting, so we were happy to have very good dinner at the hotel.

The Ambelikos hotel was amazing. The hosts were very kind and accommodating, the location was in a somewhat remote mountain village that was a PERFECT getaway from the cities and resorts. The rooms were a good size with a wonderful bed and a great balcony with a view. I highly recommend you make plans to eat here during your stay as well. Every meal was excellent and prepared with great care, and served in the central courtyard under the grape terrace. I also got to watch various herbs picked from the garden before they were a put on my dish. Fresh and delicious! The hotel is also a relatively short drive to many hiking paths and points of interest in the mountains, so day trips to Troodos Square or the waterfalls or churches are easy.

Mooie rustige omgeving. Het hotel zelf is zéér mooi ingericht en heeft zéér romantisch ingerichte kamers! Geen koelkastje. Geen waterkoker. Kleinschalig (positief!). Mooi zwembadje met tof uitzicht. De lekkere maaltijden worden geserveerd in een mooie omgeving (pergola). Lekkere wijnen uit de buurt. Er kan 'smorgens door de vriendelijke eigenaar gevraagd worden als je bv forel wenst voor het avondeten.... (lekker!). Correcte prijzen (al hadden we graag een kaart gehad met de prijzen op voorhand).
