What can I say? Dreams Onyx is the best! Every year we travel to the D. R. and every year we are at Dreams Onyx. The only change is if we stay 7 or 10 days!!! The resort is always in tip top shape. Always clean and yards are manicured well. Pools are kept clean. Beach area is cleaned as best they can. This last time it was seaweed season, but they did their best to keep up with it. If seaweed bothers you, don't go during it's season. We never had a problem getting chairs at any of the pools. In fact it was noon and there were plenty at the main pool. The preferred pool is a little different situation, but chairs were available when we wanted them. I did read in one of the postings that if personal items/ towels are set out on chairs before 8 am. Staff does pick them up and takes to lost and found. Pools open at 8, so after 8 is fine to select chairs and walk away. Most times we would select our chairs and then go to breakfast. Didn't have a problem when we came back. The food is OKay whether it's the buffet or specialty restaurants. No reservatio needed except for the Hibachi. Which was a great show and food. Our Butler. ANGEL, (THE BEST)did secure us a spot at specialty restaurants anyway. There wasn't ever a line to get in. Service was fast and wait staff pleasant. Please tip them. Overall it's a wonderful place to vacation. Tip the employees, they work long days. 12 hr shifts, 12days on, 3 off.

This was our first time to Dominican Republic and the dreams onyx hotel was absolutely great. We didn’t realize booking through Expedia we would have a dedicated concierge and boy was he fabulous. Breilin was available most of the day for anything we needed. Towels or drinks for the room? He did It. Making sure our transportation back to PUJ airport done. Bell boys to bring down our luggage? He made everything happen. Breilin truly made our stay easy and welcoming!

Loved it! Would definitely visit again! The best part of the stay was honestly the staff and the shows! Even without the pools, the events all around the resort kept you busy the entire day into the late night! And that’s awesome for our family because we can only do so much swimming until it’s just too hot out!

Amazing! Is one word that comes to mind when I think of my time at Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa. The resort is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, and escorted to check in. My husband and I had a long trip due to flight delays, however we were quickly refreshed when we encountered the pleasantness of the staff and our beautiful surroundings.

We stayed at Dream Onyx all-inclusive resort for a relaxing getaway and overall had a great experience. The property was clean, beautiful, and well-maintained, with plenty of space to relax by the pool or beach. The staff was friendly and worked hard to keep guests comfortable throughout the stay. The food options were better than expected for an all-inclusive resort. There was a good variety at the buffet, and the specialty restaurants offered a nice change of pace. Drinks were included and easy to access from multiple bars around the property. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment and live music. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily, although some areas could use small updates. Wi-Fi was decent in most public spaces but slower in the room during busy hours. The Gosha Family

This was a very nice resort. Very clean and comfortable. Rooms are super cute. I love the access to the sister resort, Breathless. This allows more options to eat, swim, and play. Breathless has the adult side with the casino, while Dreams has the water slides, game room, ice cream shop, and lazy river. I’m not sure if all resorts do this but I was told the liquor has 50% water in them. The drinks were a bit watered down unless you take straight shots or bring your own liquor. Food was decent. Hibachi was amazing. You have to book the Hibachi dinner. Overall, great experience. The welcome was very nice with a cold towel and glass of champagne. The room was ready early which is always convenient when you had a long day of travel. The birthday surprise my hubby paid for that they put together with a bday sash on my door, a cake, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and balloons was soooo cute. They did a great job setting that up. Over all, great vacation stay.

You will not regret going with this resort. Everything was 5 star from the pools, staff, restaurant’s, rooms and so on. Really enjoyed the room service and French cuisine restaurant. Also spa was nice. If I had to say bad thing that would just be the beaches were very seaweedy while there but that could just be the season.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time! The Staff was spectacular! Once you become familiar with them they never forget you and make you feel so welcome! The pool was so much fun. And the food could be a little better ( the buffet) but the other restaurants was top tier! I wish they had more lunch options but rather than that it was great and room service is very fast and food is still hot!!

Excellent place to stay. The suites with private pools were amazing. Butler service by Juan was awesome! He made sure we had everything we needed, reservations at restaurants to ensure no waiting and set up a romantic dinner on the beach. He was very kind and demonstrated a true love for his work!
