I had an amazing breakfast and one night's dinner here. Sadly, as guests of the hotel, Couid kept us away and we could not have been more welcome. Maya, the owner, is a real treasure whose family has remained here for generations, and she is a lively dictionary of all things tranquil. She jokingly offered the two of us a walk around the historic center, where her hotel is located, and we couldn't have requested a more lovely tour guide. What a wonderful, gracious, grande dame whose lovely persona we were so fortunate to go through. Thank you Maya for making our tranquil experience even more than we had anticipated!

This hotel is highly recommended for those who enjoy historical and opulent elegance. We stayed at the Casa San marco Hotel for two nights last week and it exceeded our expectations in every way! When we arrived, Maya and her lovely staff welcomed us and showed us around our rooms. The hotel is actually a former mansion in an excellent location in a quiet old town. It still has the appearance and feel of a 300-year-old residence, with beautiful antiques and artwork in each room, taking you back to colonial times in ecuador. The hotel and its rooms are comfortable and spacious, and you don't realize you're right in the middle of the best location in the bustling old town. Maya gave us a tour of the hotel and covered it's history, having been in her family for the better part of the last 300 years.

This hotel comes highly recommended, especially for the Saniago and Maya people. It is located in a peaceful street near a bustling old town of quiet. We had excellent treatment from Santiago and Maya throughout our stay. They both went above and above to make sure our stay was excellent and all of our requirements were met. From Leaving luggage behind for a few days on an adventure, last-minute washing of clothes, great breakfast and dinner and teas to make us feel at home. We also took a wonderful Maya tour of the city, which was a great way of enjoying our time and learning a lot about the history and different parts of old towns.

We remained in the lovely casa san marco for a total of six nights. It is listed here as a bed and breakfast, and while it has more charm than any I have ever seen, it also features all of the amenities of a full-service hotel at a very reasonable price. We really felt pampered. Santiago does everything front desk clerk, bellhop, doorman, and wonderful breakfast chef. He was always eager to help and we enjoyed talking with him. Rosa also provided excellent service. Sea. Maya is a true institution, and we were very grateful that she took the time to give us a tour of the building and share its history, which is also her family's history, and its art collection, with us. We arrived to an upgraded room, which was given to us again during our second visit. There are many lovely communal spaces where you can relax and possibly enjoy a glass of wine. The breakfast area is beautiful and has a view of El Panecillo. Every morning we were treated to a fresh, multicourse breakfast, which was a wonderful way to start our day in this great city. I recommend the coca tea as an elevation adjustment aid. Also, the hotel connected us with an excellent guide who became a friend. Just a few doors down on the same block is La Purisima, an upscale and very cool restaurant with excellent service
