I was originally from Ecuador, but have lived in the states for more than half of my life. I opted to visit Puerto Lopez on one of our trips to Ecuador. It was a total of 4 adults and 5 children ages 1 to 12 years old from my cousin choosing this place. We all used two rooms, and they were very comfortable. Because of the kids, ac, hot water, a clean room, and this hotel had everything, as well as excellent service from the hotel employees. The price was also good. No complaints there..

Our basic double room had a fan and a cover. You can get air conditioning and cable only for an additional fee of $18. This hotel is good for a quiet nights sleep. Although the walls of the room share the walls of an indoor soccer stadium, the noise can increase if you stay at the back.
