This upscale boutique hotel is in a great location on the bay, only a 5-minute water taxi ride from the bustle of central puerto agora. During our lengthy visit, service was attentive and friendly, and the property is beautifully kept. The hotel's attached restaurant is rather good, but the front desk can direct you to many other good choices in the town. There are numerous water activities and wildlife viewing opportunities available.

My husband and I had the best hotel stay at the angermeyer waterfront inn in Puerto Agora. The room was spotless with a beautiful harbor view. The staff was excellent. Professional, helpful, warm, and friendly. Everyone seemed to be genuinely interested in making our visit memorable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and prepared to order. I can't say enough good things about this place. I give it ten stars.

Our family, which includes children ages 11 and 8, stayed at The Angermeyer for five nights. We reserved two rooms through our tour company ecoluxury group, each connected by a balcony, creating a setup more like a suite with space and privacy that was perfect for providing privacy and space. The hotels website has a little bit of information, but do not be concerned. The hotel was a fantastic morning and afternoon base and a wonderful spot for some afternoon fun on the water. The rooms were comfortable, and we enjoyed the setting, which was wonderful. During our visit, we had wonderful contacts with a number of employees, and they were very careful to ensure that we had meals and transportation at the right times to make connections to our daily planned excursions. We enjoyed the hotel location. The main port is roughly a 2-minute water taxi ride for 80 us cents per person each ride. The location offers the beauty and serenity of the waterfront with a little less activity and noise than the main port. Our kids also cherished swimming in the waters directly in front of the hotel, a region separated from the main boat traffic by a rope connected to the dock. The meals were also excellent, huge portions, and my wife, who is glutenfree, had plenty of delicious options. Three boat excursions and oneday shopping tours of the main port were all included on our itinerary.

Please be aware that Galapagos is conformed by different islands; in this case you are arriving to to Santa Cruz Island. Once you arrive to Seymour Airport in Baltra Island, please take a public bus to Baltra Ferry Terminal where you should take a ferry to Santa Cruz Ferry Terminal. Then, take a bus or a taxi to Puerto Ayora. Give the driver the property's name and directions in order to arrive easily. This whole trip take approximately 40 minutes. To move between islands you can take a boat or plane; please check with your hotel the different schedules.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
