Very friendly receptionist, especially Nanny and Mohammed, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, competent staff, great rate for single rooms, quick response to any request, please choose a room higher than the 4 th floor to avoid car noises

The personnel are incredibly welcoming and helpful. We always left with our tour group because of the security. We hired a taxi through our tour operator because the hotel's driver wasn't around. It is possible to be difficult to get about the city, so having a reliable driver is helpful. Just a note: the rooftop restaurant is closed. We chose floor 4 as our highest hotel. The rooms had tes and were of decent size. They were cold, but the air conditioning quickly cooled the room!.

I can hear extremely loud music coming from a nearby club or music enthusiast, not sure which one is blaring at a volume to rival the centre stage of the lollapalooza as I slumber in the morning. We are spending the third night in this hotel, and this is the third in a row with noise that is so clear, crisp, and clear that I'm unsure whether it's coming from the television in my room, not from the hotel. Of course, two roosters start crowing just outside our window at 0400 am. That's it, the atmosphere is finished, now on to the rest. The rooms are worn out and outdated, but mostly clean. The breakfast is a bright spot. The only spot in the hotel that appears to have recently undergone renovations. The food is excellent but not outstanding. The area is not good for walking, and taxis are no where to be found on uncontrolled traffic from destinations like the main museum. They also offer legitimate tours, but if you only need transportation, you'll spend a fortune here just to go back and forth to dinner. Finally, the staff is professional but clearly trained to push tours on guests. We expected this to be fine. If you're traveling to Cairo, virtually all hotels are in those streets, so you can't blame the hotel for the backyard waste. I'm
