This is one of the greatest views, as the title states. The hotel is relatively modest and occupies floor 46 as other floors are leased to businesses. Each room is similar to a small selfcontained apartment. Large bed, kitchenette area with fridge, cabinets, cooker, and over. Then, the bathroom is on the side and quite large. Where you truly get your money's worth are the beds to the balcony. Slide back the blinds, pull open the sliding doors and you're looking directly at Methane Alex Cathedral, which is close to your left, so you can see the sunday prayer crowd. While the city is unveiled before you, the mountains are far away. So, while the hotel is lovely, there were a few major letdowns, such as the shower flooding the rest of the bathroom, and even though I raised it and was assured that it would be fixed, it wasn't the three days that I was told that my room had to leave my key at reception before departing. There are nice staff that are extremely pleased to assist you in airport transportation pick up. The location is very dark and quiet when the eateries close at about 11 p.m. 12 a.m. but I think if youve got the mind to rent an apartment instead of a hotel room, youll truly enjoy your stay and it will be worthwhile, except for the bathroom issue. I always like this place for the cleanliness, simple but functional, close to shops, and the chance to wake up next to a church with morning service. But there are several other reasons, price, relative close distance to Bole, nearby restaurants, shops, coffee shops, etc that make this place an ideal place to stay.

All the staff including the receptionists, security guys, sanitation ladies, the cooks, the supervisor( Selam) are all exceptional and try to help you and make your stay wonderful in anyway possible. My room have 2 balconies with different views of Addis. The room itself is spacious. I stayed for 15 days, but only felt like a couple days. Whenever I come to Addis from here on, this will be the place & 608 will be the room I will be staying.

I have been to the Ibis Hotel several times. The hotel's position is perfect because the room is quite large. Within walking distance of the hotel, there are restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping centers. The staff is very accommodating and always willing to help.

This is a fantastic hotel for the money, and we will definitely come back when we visit Ethiopia again. At the start of our journey to Ethiopia, my husband and I stayed for four nights, and one at the end. This hotel has been very enjoyable for us. We stayed in a suite, which was roomy and had a lovely balcony. The bed was quite comfy, and the shower was large and had strong water flow. We skipped a tiny kitchenette. Everyone on the staff spoke excellent English and was incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was great, but when we visited the restaurant nearby, their special foul was fantastic for breakfast. I heartily suggest it. There is also a tomcat in the structure, which is excellent for quick Ethiopian coffee. The setting is excellent because it is close to the airport and a wide variety of eateries. They also organized a hassle-free airport pick-up and drop-off for us.

The employees were very kind, and friendly. Plus the room was big, also it was very comfortable to stay there. Plus, the room was clean and large. Plus, they have twin balconies that don't have a lot of a view of the street, but the mountains nearby were stunning.

I stayed there for a week and was surprised by the room. Well water pressure for showers and great view. But no room service, terrible wifi and the breakfast buffet ran out of food choices which made me had a bad experience.

The people are amazing. The hotel is really nice. Convenient to restaurants and café. The only think about this hotel is the noise from the church at night which make me move to another hotel. I would suggest a sound proof window. I understand they cannot stop the church sevice or move their building away. But, they could at least have sound proof windows.

The Impress hotel is only few minutes from the airport and approximately 15 minutes from the city center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but nothing luxurious. We had problems with the shower and asked to change a room, which they were quick to help with. The staff were always helpful and we were happy with the service.

1. They sent a shuttle to pick me up. Unfortunately the plane was late and luggage delivery took a looong time. He wasn’t where they said he’d be and I wandered quite a bit and had someone call in order to find him. He complained a bit about the delay, but at least he was there! 2. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. 3. However, there was a missing drain cover over the drain/seeer line from the toilet, so the bathroom smelled bad. I tried to avoid going in there. Room 611. 4. I could have used a blanket. I had to put on long underwear in the middle of the night to warm up.
