Trevligt hotell med bra läge. Bra rum, rent och fint. Mycket bra service, trevlig personal. Fick tillgång till rummet före utsatt tid. God frukostbuffé.

Marikki, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly, a real 'people person'. We were slightly concerned that we were a little way from the village to go out to eat in the evening but this was not a problem. The hotel meals were so good there was no need to go out - very tasty and with a traditional theme. The local taxis are also quick and efficient. This was a very comfortable place to stay where the hosts made every effort to ensure you have a good time. It is right next to a ski track so easy to access the ski trail network and a lovely sauna available at the end of the day. Marikki kindly arranged our ski hire and airport transfers too.

This cozy family-run hotel was perfect for my partner and I as we went on winter vacation. The owners and head of staff, Markka, and the rest of the staff were friendly and the perfect hosts. On a few occasions, we also ate dinner at the hotel. What could be more convenient after a long day spent outdoors than to eat somewhere? The three-house meal they serve is simple homemade meat stew, lasagna, and so on, but it is well prepared and delicious. We stayed in the room they call the northern lights room, where, if you are lucky, you may spot northern lights from the window. Sadly, we had no luck, as we had to go to bed very early because the only night we had the chance to spot them, we were already in bed early. If there is new, new snow, this is another issue. If you are brave enough, you can slide around the corner of the building and plunge into a huge pile of snow for something special. A kind warning, although it is very simple to dip in, a slight hassle to get up because you are most likely to sink further into the snow. It was fun! The hotel is situated on the Kuerkievari fell, just outside of Akslompolo village. The surroundings are stunning, but the downside is that, at least according to TripAdvisor, the nearest restaurant is the number 1 restaurant

This is a wonderful cross-country skiing destination that we will certainly revisit. We just wrapped up our week 17 th and 19th of cross-country skiing in the Akslompolo area of Northern finland as a retired couple. The Kure is a modest family-run hotel hostel. Our first enquiry and departure, Mia, the hotel's family administrator, who spoke impeccable English, were both excellent. Mia made suggestions for lodging options, travel options, and other little details that contributed to making our stay memorable and enjoyable. There are other activities accessible. We would rank our Kure Hotel akaslompolo ski experience among the best from Norway or Austria. We quickly changed our gear and skied comfortably every day. There are web sites for updating on grooming progress after meals and having more than sufficient skiing daylight hours. The track section of the kure was regularly groomed in the late hours. There is a superb ski storage and waxing room facilities at the Kure hotel. It was a challenging and quick trip from dublin, Helsing, and attila, but it was clean and easy. We gave our room a generous welcome breakfast on arrival late at night. I highly advise the sauna and the amazing clothes drying cabinets that dealt with damp ski clothing in an hour. To my amazement, my dog was only permitted in my single hostel room. This was challenging because my dog wants to be near me, particularly in weird places. Going to the toilet or the hostel kitchen to make food was a nightmare, and the owner personally said it was the customers' problem, not hers. My dog was also able to open the door to our room, so I had to tie it to the bed in order to comply with house rules. There was always someone from the staff around to verify that the house rules were kept, except after rp. Dogs are now allowed in many restaurants, etc. in Finland, so I will undoubtedly not visit this place with my dog in the future. Another incident was that I had personally go and tell my loud vodka drinking neighbors from our eastern neighbor to keep quiet at night on two occasions, at 23. 15 and 23. 30 house rules silence was 10 pm. Luckily these big guys were friendly and understood my gestures. Otherwise a nice place.

The atmosphere in this hotel is relaxed and comfortable. They serve a great meal. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room is simple but equipped with everything you need, a large closet and comfortable mattresses. The surroundings are amazing and a fantastic place to see the Northern Lights. They served a very delicious supper, made from scratch.

The atmosphere was cozy with comfortable rooms, small common area with cold beers and hot fire, large male-female saunas for easing your pains and a fantastic fire pit gazebo to keep an eye out for the lights. The location was close to all the awesome activities in the surrounding mountains and countryside.
