It's a really centrally located hotel. Easily accessible everywhere. Everything was very clean but a little basic. No refrigeration or ice. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of fruits, cold meats, sausages, and scrambled eggs. Excellent bread. With one exception, the entire staff was really helpful and friendly. Due to the tram stop, the front rooms are extremely noisy. A lot of excellent restaurants are close by. Definitely worth a midweek short stay.

It was a good morning. The hotel's front room had a good view of the site of the post office building but the atmosphere was very noisy. The shower drain was clogged and overflowing with hot water. Window opened but noisy, aircorn and fresh air very poor. I need a good clean, carpets and air filters. The staff at the front desk are friendly. The front of the building has faded and the photos seem a few years old. So difficult to sleep in. The mattress was stained to the eye, but had a clean, thick top cover.

Excellent, the staff is very friendly but in need of renovation. The breakfast here was also very good and very clean. The port and old city are within walking distance too. However, the basement was in need of renovation, and now I expect it to be done.

We enjoyed visiting Marseilles and would stay at this hotel again if we returned to the city. Both before and after our vacation, we stayed at this hotel. Most of the sights, as well as a number of bars and eateries, are within walking distance of the location. The personnel are courteous and supportive, and the rooms, despite their modest size by North American standards, are spotless and cozy. Although delicious and plentiful, the breakfast offerings are not quite as varied as those at other ibis hotels, probably due to the limited space available. Our room was in front of the hotel, so sunlight was not an issue for most of the day, at least on the weekend, because trams stop running around midnight.
