On our journey back to Ireland, we stay in this hotel once every year. We are traveling with a dog and the lake next to the hotel is ideal for walking her. The property needs some tact. The food was fine, but the past was better. The mantras need to be changed.

I would definitely recommend this welcoming establishment. I highly recommend this hotel and have a wonderful stay in Campanile. The service was excellent, especially at the front desk, a real gentleman with a first-rate service attitude. The restaurant service and the food were excellent.

After a cross-channel journey and before getting to Germany via Belgium, we stayed for one night in august. It can be difficult to negotiate in a nice convenient location, but after 18 years we are getting accustomed to it. We received a warm greeting. We stayed in a ground-floor room at the back of the main hotel structure. The room was nice, with everything from security to to. In our opinion, the presence of just one dining chair that looked rather old was the only minor drawback. My wife opted to sit outside in the sun for a while and posed this outside other visitors doing similar. Could I suggest that they build a bench or two in the back yard area? Due to an unexpectedly early ferry, we had to order the main meal. We decided to use the restaurant and have to say that we were incredibly pleased with the selection and the quality of the food provided. Two years ago, we stayed at two companies, and the cuisine was not up to par. This is now the case. The following morning, we had the buffet breakfast, which was also extremely satisfying. Both quantity and quality were excellent, and the staff in charge was constantly working to ensure that all the dishes were filled. We would most definitely return, and we look forward to our return trip to Calais Campanile at the conclusion of our trip.

The room smelled a little like smoke. The shower was small, the walls looked a bit crumbly and the room a bit dated. The room looks clean, despite the beds not great but enough for a good nights sleep. Parking was good, and the breakfast was also good, a bit expensive 10, including tax for some cakes, croissants, coffee and chocolate bread.
