Chambre d'hôte dans un château rénové. Le gérant est d'une sympathie rare, très gentil, à l'écoute et qui connaît parfaitement l'histoire du château et des alentours. Il n'hésite pas à vous renseigner sur les visites à faire aux alentours et à toujours une anecdote à raconter. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propre, la literie est d'une grande qualité qui colle avec l'histoire de la suite. La salle de bain est fonctionnelle et très propre. J'ai été agréablement surpris par tant de services, de beauté des lieux et de sérieux du gérant. Je recommande vivement.

Olimme matkalla Le Manssista Normandian rannikolle ja Chateau des Lutz tarjosi oivan pysähdyspaikan matkan varrella. Isäntä otti meidät vieraanvaraisesti vastaan vaikka ei tiennyt tulostamme nettiyhteyden ollessa katkolla. Onneksi muita vieraita ei ollut ja saimme ihanan romanttisen huoneen minkä olin varannutkin. Sänky oli hyvä ja huone näytti paremmalta kuin kuvissa. Ihanasti sisustettu. Isäntä piti huolen että viihdyimme. Kävelimme tunnin lenkin lähialueella pitkin puiden kaartamia hiekkateitä ja pellon reunamia. Onneksi olimme syöneet ennen tuloamme, sillä hienon sijainnin vuoksi lähikauppa tai ravintola oli automatkan päässä. Aamupala oli hyvä. Ennen lähtöä pulahdus altaalla ja upean linnan valokuvaamista.

Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). It is basically a private house offering rooms and a basic breakfast- not a hotel… it’s very much like taking an Air BnB room. The owner is a character but speaks virtually no English- this isn’t for you if you’re not able to get by in French. The house is unique, and speaks of grandeur in the way that old piles do. It felt like spending the night in a National Trust Manor House before they’ve done it up. If you want a night in deepest Anjou where you’re left to yourself to explore a chateau and can sit drinking wine under a tree with a cat purring on your lap, this is worth a go. If you’ve got young kids, you can’t speak much French or have mobility issues (there’s a spiral staircase), stay somewhere else.

Voyages affaire très déçu, malgré une nuit à moins 6 degrés le chauffage se coupe, j'ai dormis habillé, matelas très inconfortable, restaurant à 10 kilomètres, petit déjeuné on plus simple, rapport qualité prix très chers 100 € la nuit petit déj compris.

Upon our arrival, the only living thing to greet us was a cat! Upon phoning the host, we were told that he believed the booking “had been cancelled “ and that he was in Lyon . Whereupon we left for Segre and the hospitality of the Ibis Styles . Rather annoying following a longish drive.

I was so looking forward to my visit to Château des Lutz. Unfortunately, the host never showed up. I waited from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. It would have been nice if I could have received an email informing what to do prior to traveling the distance. What a disappointment. It was no small feat locating the Château in the first place. Then having to find alternative lodging on a Sunday evening was unpleasant to say the least. I am an easy going traveler, low maintenance but this was unacceptable.
