Merci beaucoup au personnel à l’hôtel. Ils ont grandement facilité notre arrivée. Nous avons été surclassés. Quelques soucis techniques avec l’ascenseur sans conséquences pour nous. Mais plus difficile pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

What an awesome hotel! It is right in the middle of Old Lyon so everything was in walking distance or easy to hop on a bus or train to go further. We were able to get two rooms that were side by side and it was great for our family of five to be close with enough room for all of us.

We had 4 nights here and were very happy with our stay. Rooms are comfortable (with a/c) and have a kettle but no mini-fridge. The decor in the hotel is interesting as it was apparently an old school, so there are desks etc. A real plus is the roof terrace with many plants---we could sit there in the evening and relax. Location is great---very close to a bus stop and to old Lyon and its many shops and eating places.

Die Ausstattung ist wirklich cool mit der Idee einer Schule/Klassenzimmer. Waren echt begeistert. Toll auch, dass man Wasser kostenlos mitnehmen kann (gesprudelt mit Maschine im EG). Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im alten Teil von Lyon. Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, da wir in eine Bäckerei in der Nähe gegangen sind. Vermutlich etwas preisgünstiger. Das Zimmer lag im obersten Stock und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Kleiner Nachteil: das Doppelbett war vermutlich nur 1,40m breit und die Badewanne war in der Schräge was das Duschen etwas schwieriger machte. Aber letztendlich war wir sehr zufrieden. Tatsächlich der einzige Minuspunkt war, dass die vorhandene Parkgarage gesperrt war und wir auf eine öffentliche Parkgarage ausweichen mussten. Und die sind unverschämt teuer. 24h fast €50. Wir haben dann €40 gezahlt, weil wir etwas kürzer geparkt hatten. Also dies sollte vorher abgecheckt werden, denn sonst ist das Parken irgendwann teurer als die Unterkunft!

Lovely quirky hotel. Staff (Ellen) reception friendly and helpful. Great location. Quiet room. Big for Europe. Close to many eateries. Did not try breakfast as many options nearby Patisseries etc. Definitely great place to stay
