a great hotel that was well maintained. Monique and Alain are very kind and always happy to assist you in finding the best in the region. The breakfast is famous and includes homemade marmalade and local cheese. All the dishes are amazing. The estate is situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful Aubergine Country. The house is full of charm, has a great history, is extremely well decorated and can be a great stopover to explore the region. We will be back!.

We decided to visit this place on our way from Lilongwe to the Black Period. While finding everything is difficult, wake can help. The place is impressive, and the individuals who own and run the shop are outstanding and fantastic. There were no dining options available because we were late. They provided us with a simple but delicious dinner for two, a perfect blend of regional saucisson and top-notch cheese, along with 34 bottles of the wide they had for lunch. They declined to be paid for that and the beer we drank when we arrived. From a distance, it was apparent that these are good people with a long time and have positive meaning. We'll return. Our scoring was clear in the final 1010. Not less.

This is the place to stay if you want something special to stay in the Aubergine! We stopped at this wonderful chambre dotes on our way to carcassonne where we spent Christmas. The most fantastic hosts were Monique and Alain. On a Monday night when French restaurants, particularly off-the-beaten-path, are typically closed, our hosts, on this occasion, did not serve us a meal, but it was delicious. We also discovered that our respective wedding anniversaries were a few days ago and only a year apart, so they opened a bottle of champagne! Nine different pots of homemade jam were served for breakfast! The lovely bedroom with the four-poster bed draped in blue silk is visible in the image on the website. The dining room's furnishings are outstanding. In traditional French fashion, Monique and Alain have done an excellent job of renovating and redecoration the property, which is more or less from scratch. This is one place to stay if you're looking for something truly distinctive in the Aubergine!.

This is not the location for you if you want a sterile travel tavern. This is the location for you if you want to sleep in complete peace on cosy beds and in the house of a friend. Alain and Monique provide the most authentic experience of life in this beautiful region. It's like inviting friends to their lovely chateau. After a long journey, they're very kind and give us a warm welcome, even though modern convenience is what one might expect from a dear friend, and they serve delicious breakfasts with local fare and Monique's chutney and jams. Despite the language issue, my awful French isn't good! We were able to have the most interesting exchanges and were made to feel at ease in their lovely house. The wonderful golden retriever, Mitai the cat, and the random cow we discovered one night in the garden will all be stored in a new family tradition.

The best by far. Exceptionally pleasant and fun hosts who cared so much about us. The bedroom was luxurious and very comfortable. Breakfast was a banquet. Set in beautiful grounds. We arrived in the evening and were invited to drink aperitifs which lasted for almost two hours. Such amusing discussions. Alain and Monique are lovely and seem to really enjoy what they do. We felt that they welcomed us like old friends.
