Although we would not recommend it to friends or family in our situation, it depends on what you are looking for. We spent what ought to have been two weeks here in early July, but we ultimately decided to leave two days early. The dune du pula, archachon, and several beaches are all nearby and within easy driving distance of this place. About 200 mobile homes and wooden chalets, both owned and leased, make up this site. The swimming pool, aside from the slides that had yellow water in them, is excellent, and the kind greeting and vibe of the employees believe that the campground is someplace to camp out. The truth is that the information and in particular photographs on the website are untrue and give the impression that the chalets are more modern and have more internal and external space than the truth. When we arrived, our chalet was filthy, so we cleaned it for 90 minutes, and my kids eventually developed head lice from the mattresses, which and the sofa were also extremely uncomfortable. Our chalet was also near the main path that people use to get to the pool, shops, and entertainment, making a lot of noise from people not being particularly considerate, particularly unattached dogs, especially the little yappy ones!, teens riding motorcycles along the paths, and the general feeling that those who owned their own homes didn't care about anyone but themselves.
