Our trip to the lake in La Cavaliere was wonderful, and starting in October, we spent a wonderful week at the vine cottage. Although the weather was still warm, most locations were nice and quiet because the season was over. Our 3-year-old son adored La Citat in Carcassonne. It was a tranquil spot for other day excursions, including the Museum des Dinosaurs and the Lac de la Cave. There were a lot of animals to make friends with, such as a trampoline and swings, within the domain itself. For cooler evenings, the cottage included a good kitchen, a washing machine, and a cozy log burner. The mattresses were all quite spacious and cozy, despite the somewhat simple downstairs furniture. It was also very a wonderful present of food and wine. Thank you.

We spent the holiday week at the vine cottage. This location was a little treasure, so I came here! The booking process was quick and the instructions were simple. There was a lovely Christmas tree in the corner and the fire had been lit when we arrived. Instead of staying in a vacation home, it felt like we were visiting family. Jilly was incredibly helpful and nice in directing us on walks to various locations. Our puppy, Grey, was like a big brother, he loved to run around. The house was spacious and cozy. While it was winter and there was only a log burner, we were expecting it to be chilly. The house was extremely warm and had plenty of hot water! The cushions and duvets in the beds were cozy and cozy. It was pleasant to have a wide variety of pillows to select from. I wholeheartedly endorse this lodging, and I would happily return there with my family once more.

We arrived late at night and the host was very welcoming, although it was unclear where we should check in as there was no reception sign. The room and ensure were clearly newly decoratedfurnished and both very well done. Breakfast was well balanced unlike many we have encountered and was served in our room at our convenience.

I recommend this place to anyone who wishes to explore and experience this area. For a week, we stayed at the vine cottage. Everything we needed was in the cottage. The surroundings were quiet and relaxing. Jilly and her family were great hosts. The weather was great. The sites and places we visited in the area of carcassonne were beautiful. I had a great time and would recommend it to everyone who wanted to experience and explore this area. A car is needed.

The Domain de la Matte is 15 am from carcassonne in the middle of the countryside follow the directions on the internet site and you will reach it very easily, very convenient for visiting the region. We stayed 4 nights at the vine cabin and felt like we were at home. The house is very cozy down the fully equipped kitchen and living room with a very efficient wood stove upstairs the 3 bedroom and bathroom. Good breakfast is served every morning. In the evening it was really nice to sit on the sofa, watch the logs burning in the stove, sipping a cup of tea and planning the visits for the next day! highly recommended.
