The Hotel, Bar, and Restaurant is on the beach at Petit Fort Phillipe. We had a very good snack lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. The staff was a bit strange. The location is also excellent.

The value for the money is very good, I have tried my best to try another place tomorrow. The siete de escher was perfect and the menu was simple but plenty. I walked past a restaurant that looked good on the way, however, when we returned, we saw this tiny gem with a great sea view and welcoming staff. My wife had the siete de escher, and I had the moules rochefort. I went to the gravelines as a base for a quick vacation, arrived late morning, and enjoyed a fantastic walk along the canal channel leading to the sea. A table by the window was available, and the simple but ample menu was wonderful. A bottle of wine, water, and beer were provided to complete the meal along with a complimentary taste of another local cheese used in one of the other mouse dishes. Very good value for the money, trying to find a reason to try another place tomorrow.

Excellent location right on the beach. We did not stay here. I just found it open for lunch on a windy December day. The food was very good and the service was quick and friendly. I watched paragliders doing their thing in the waves.

The service here was excellent and hospitable even though we were unable to speak English very much. The room was also compact and clean, but no elevator, which made it not suitable for mobile travelers.

I enjoyed a few delicious lunches of moules and frites with very nice wine on the terrace overlooking the large beach and hoped to repeat the experiences only to find that it was closed and redone!
