Le Bouclier had great staff, a comfortable room, and a good breakfast. The restaurant on property was excellent for lunch and dinner too. The location was very nice, about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and in a quieter part of the main tourist neighborhood.

The hotel is beautiful, being a converted old mill gives it a very unique vibe. The room we had was spacious with a comfortable bed and large shower. It is located right by the”petite France” area meaning you are close to many restaurants and numerous cobblestone streets with 14th century buildings. You are a 5 minute walk to the Strasbourg Notre Dame church. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there!

A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel und Zimmer waren sehr schön, das Frühstück sehr fein und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig die Anfahrt zum Hotel ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden. Es gab eine schöne Bar mit feinsten Weinen, gleich um die Ecke, um abends auf dem Heimweg einen Schlummertrunk zu nehmen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und zu empfehlen.

Everything was great. Great patio. Great location. Great room. Great shower. Really such a charming and lovely hotel. The service was especially great. Wera at the front desk was fantastic. She gave great recommendations, was able to get us reservations in town and was able to answer all of our questions.

The best! Of 6 similarly priced hotels we stayed at on a recent trip, this one was buy far the best. Best service, best rooms - spacious, nicely furnished, even chandeliers. The court yard was excellent for relaxing. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend anyone staying here. The location was perfect. The space is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was a surprise with a waterfall shower that was heavenly! The staff was excellent. We did not use the spa but we did use the courtyard and it was nice to have a space to just relax. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Super dejligt boutique hotel i hjertet af Petit France, Strasbourg. Værelserne er et skønt anderledes indslag blandt de mange globale (standard) hoteller og atmosfæren er hyggelig. Vær dog opmærksom på, at der kun er adgang til hotellets SPA-område fra 15 år og at baren (som ellers er hyggelig og historisk flot indrettet) ikke altid har åben.

Very picturesque room, under the eaves, just the type of quirky we like. No AC that we could see a control for, but opening the window to keep things cool in March is not an issue on the 3rd floor. Could be, though, in hotter months. However, one can get a pretty good draught when opening windows throughout the unit. Quiet neighborhood, so no city noise during the night even with open windows.

It is a lovely hotel. The room is beautiful and spacious. It has a mix of tradition with modern finishes. There is a lot of attention to detail in the design, furnishing, and amenities. Service was also great. When I had an issue with the shower, they made sure to help me out quickly. The hotel also has an excellent location. I highly recommend it.
