The room was perfect for us. The staff were lovely and the hotel was very central and close to the beach too. The price was very reasonable. Small tax of 2 Euros to pay on arrival. Maybe the bathroom could have been updated but everything was functioning OK.

We were happy with our stay here. The building is old with some old plumbing which led to some stale smells in the bathroom, but it wasn't bad enough for us to complain or request a new room. It was loud one night, but it was a special festival going on. the rest of the nights we slept very well. The location was perfect and the breakfast was well worth the money. We would stay here again.

As other reviewers have noted, the property is a little older, but I did not come to northern France to stay at a modern US hotel. Overall it was clean and accommodating. We really did not know much about St. Malo. It was a tourist destination my son wanted to see. Had I known more, I would have booked several days here instead of just one. Unfortunately we got to the establishment at midnight after a long day of sight-seeing and didn’t realize St. Malo has an energetic night life. There is no parking inside of the city walls. There is quite a bit of paid parking just outside the walls. Unfortunately, I have no idea of general availability. Because we got there so late, close parking was not hard to get. Even at midnight, though, we saw families with strollers and young children so it is very safe. We actually strolled a couple of blocks after we checked in and enjoyed our time in the city after dark. Keep in mind, English is not as common outside of Paris. We brought our son who is a fluent French speaker. But you will need to know at least a little French here.

personnel agréable mais des dysfonctionnement en cas de problème pas de chauffage dans la chambre toilette mauvais fonctionnement et le matin cafetiere en panne pour le petit déjeuner ce n est pas la faute du personnel mais c est désagréable quand on a pris avec petit déjeuner

Très bon accueil, pti dej sympa et surtout c'était génial d'être intramuros. Mais... Le ménage est négligé, la moquette est sale et il y a un Énorme problème d'évacuation des eaux usées. L'odeur dans la salle de bain et particulièrement dans la douche est atroce. Cette odeur ne s'étendant pas à la chambre, je n'ai pas protesté. Je pense que les chambres concernées par ce problème ne devraient pas être louée. Ce n'est pas respectueux pour les clients.

L'hotel est divisé en 2 bâtiments. Celui dans lequel j'étais n'avais pas d'ascenseurs mais ce n'est pas grave je n'avais que 2 étages à monter. Le personnel est très agréable. Et l’hôtel extrêmement bien situé dans les remparts. Pour le parking. Il est conseillé de se garer à l'extérieur
