Second visit. Great location with an easy flat walk into town centre. Free parking right outside. Very comfortable room with xtremely comfortable bed and decent bedlinen. Good rain shower and hand shower. Small garden at rear. Right by marina. All in all excellent and would not hesitate to recommend.

Several years ago, we used to frequent Chantereyne frequently and now go back to participate in the Rolex Faster Race Celebrations. The hotel has undergone significant renovations since our last visit. The shower and bathroom floor, which contained pebbles embedded, was the only seriously flawed improvement. It appeared good, but when barefoot, it was a little rocky. The reservation process was rather simple, and the front desk was excellent upon arrival. We discovered a fantastic free parking spot right behind the hotel, despite the fact that the regatta had left the area jammed with vehicles. The typical croissants, pains chocolat, and bread rolls were all excellent at the free and simple continental breakfast, but the continental breakfast was excellent. Excellent coffee. It took the hotel to scan and email us a number of minor documents that they provided us. They all seemed interested in their customers, took the time to converse, and made us feel really welcomed. Excellent stay. We will return if we visit Cherbourg.

We stayed here over the night before taking the ferry back to England and were quite pleased. The employees were very friendly and we parked our motorcycles on hotel property in a secure spot. had a very clean triple room with everything we needed. Easy walk into the center of Cherbourg and short drive to the ferry terminal. Great breakfast. Couldn't find anything wrong!.

The property is close to a boat and a parking lot. We noticed that the reception area, bar, and breakfast area appeared to have just been renovated when we first walked in, giving a good initial impression of the hotel, but when we walked away from reception to see our first-floor room, the decoration had changed and was in need of updating. 134 was the first room we were given, and the bed was outdated. The bed was sagging in the middle due to wear and tear. Second room 128 was better, but the room itself was tired and in need of upgrading. Though we believe the restroom and toilet had been renovated because there was only one window opening and wouldn't lock open. On the hospitality tray, there were only two teabags and two milks, as well as some coffee sachets. It's not ideal for two people. There was only one bottle of water that was provided. Our clothing and cases were being stored neatly, and the carpet had seen better days. The scenery was good. You can help yourself to prepare breakfast, but it was a tiny space that was so crowded when you were making drinks or eating. The reception was friendly and helpful. Unless the rooms were renovated, we would most likely never stay at this hotel. disappointed. However, we had a good time in Paris.

Excellent small hotel for a trip to Cherbourg. We were issued passenger ferry tickets and had to walk to the hotel from the terminal without any injuries. The receptionists are helpful, the room is clean, and the shower is good. We will stay here again.

The room was a little tired, but they worked fine for us, they give us free parking, a free cot, a lot of space for crawling, a bathroom, a decent breakfast buffet 10, free for babies with a high chair and also they have an excellent dark room in the evening.

Quick over night stay. Great location with parking. Nice restaurant next door and good breakfast selection. Very plentiful and good cofffee. We were going to walk into town but on viewing decided to stay. Nice and quiet too
