We would unquestionably return. A large courtyard leads from an imposing gated arch toward the femme la sens' entrance. The walls reflect a sense of peace and quiet, and the welcomer, fanny, is warm and welcoming and fluent in English. The femme is a busy location, they also own and train show horses, as well as renting barns as wedding venues and meeting rooms! The setting is charming. We stayed in a firstfloor room with charming beams and a beautiful decor. Toiletries, towels, and a bathrobe were in the secure, each with a loo, shower, and bathroom. It must, and there are many plugs. There was also a bottle of water available. Simple continental breakfast with delicious jam, served in a huge, light, and lovely dining room.

We were aware that our stay here coincided with a French public holiday before travel. Yet, our hosts went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable before leaving to enjoy a few drinks in the lovely courtyard while they attended a family party. Anyone who wishes to visit here should know that, first and foremost, this is a working farm, beautiful old farm dog included. So if you are expecting five-star standards, you will be disappointed. Having said that, if you're looking for spacious, clean rooms in a lovely courtyard then this place is ideal.

In my opinion, the choice of la femme de la sense is right. We stayed one night and were pleased with our decision. The farm is peaceful, with a lovely and well-kept garden. I particularly liked the traditional French interior design. We stayed on the first floor, and our room was big and airy, with a comfortable bed, a separate bathroom, and a shower. The breakfast was my personal highlight. Quality was everything. The homemade croissants with apricot ham were delicious, the coffee was strong, and a selection of fresh fruit was a nice addition. Fanny was pleased to fulfill any requests which was helpful.

Our family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The friendliness and generosity of the hosts have surely provided us with the greatest continental breakfast in northern france. The location is ideal for tourists visiting the western front. I appreciate Fanny and Gerard. dean and libby clarke south australia.

We stayed here with our dog on our way to South West France. It is just a 12 hour drive from the Eurotunnel and a perfect stopover point for travel from or to the UK and visit the cemeteries. The owner was really friendly and made us and our dog feel very welcome. It is a working farm but peaceful, our spacious room suitable for a family of 4 or 5 was very clean and had a bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. A good breakfast with fresh croissants and bread as well as cheese and homemade jam. We will be back!.
