A lovely hotel, with accommodating staff, and spacious rooms. The hotel's location in the summer may have been their off season since we came late at night, so finding the hotel's entryway was challenging, but we contacted them and they took us right away. It wasn't difficult to drive up the path because it was unpaved but was still fairly simple. There was a hearty breakfast provided in the mornings, and we went hiking, rafting, and into Zakone's center from here within a short distance. If you're searching for a hotel that's a fantastic place to stay and leave from, I can't comment because we didn't use the spa amenities. But don't anticipate butler service, where the outdoor pool was refreshing, the showers were warm, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was hefty and plentiful all at a reasonable cost. Then I wholeheartedly endorse this location.
