Overall, it's a decent experience, but not what we expected. The hotel had a new owner when we stayed here, and you could tell it had been neglected for a while. Nevertheless, with the new owner, maybe this will change. The setting is great, with fields views and a small pond nearby the pool. Its a little distant from Deauville Beach, but driving to the beach takes only 14 minutes.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Everyone on the team seemed to care that we had a good time. Our third-floor room was comfortable and very soundproof, so we slept well. The outdoor sauna was a nice addition, with a window facing a section of the garden. The hotel seems to cater to families with small children, and there seemed to be a lot for them to do. Dinner was expensive considering the family-style dining room, even late in the evening, but everything was tasty, and the service was very good again.

Our intention was to remain close to area friends and companions. We planned to simply park our bags, visit our friends, and then head up to Deauville for dinner. We've been to Deauville before, and it's lovely and definitely worth a visit. However. We had a pleasant surprise upon arriving at the property, the grounds and landscape were breathtaking. The proprietor and his wonderful employees personally welcomed us upon arrival. Before we arrived at the property, he gave us a quick tour and guided us around the lovely pool before heading to meet our friends for lunch. We reserved a triple room, which was really roomy and stylish. On the way to lunch with our pals, I asked my family if they really wanted to go to Deauville for supper. Our kid demanded that we simply go back to relax in the hotel. So, we did. The pool is wonderful, and I liked how the staff came around and offered orange wedges as a light refreshment. The pool service was outstanding. The entire hotel provided excellent service. They have considered pretty much every detail, learning how to balance fantastic service without being overly stilted. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner that night, but booking ahead on weekends, which was fine, but they fill up. The hotel was reserved by our friends' home, which I had reserved.
