The owner is very kind and friendly and allowed me to check in to my room very early in the morning when I just got off the sleeper bus. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the showers are hot. They helped me book a bus to Ha Long Bay and to the Law, and even offered to let me leave my luggage at the hotel when I visited Ha Long Bay! I recommend this hotel.

I recommend you to go to Hanoi. There is a good location, not a deluxe place. They are very helpful and professional. They will provide you with all the information you need on bus tickets, general information about the city.

The staff here was extremely accommodating and polite. We had a large room, which was extremely roomy. The bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. Near a night market and a lot of excellent restaurants, especially local Indian. Can't recommend it enough.

We have a very pleasant experience at the north hostel. Two things: The room was relatively cheap but probably appropriate for the price. The hostels location made us sleep well even though Hanoi is a very noisy city. The owner also assisted us in arranging a cheap 28 dollar trip with kayaking but a wonderful trip to Halong Bay and a bus from Hanoi to the spa and back. You have to plan carefully, especially on a budget.
