I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area. This is a wonderful place with large comfortable accommodations. The garden is beautiful. The host is very kind and will provide a table dot dinner in the evening if you ask for it. The cuisine was excellent as was the breakfast. There is plenty of parking space.

I would suggest this place to you and your spouse. The owner, eric, and his wife spent two years restoring and turning the former nunnery into what it is today. We were shown a remarkable photo album before and after the construction. There is a narrow road leading to the hotel, but it is well worth it. A private car park is provided behind a sliding electric gate, and then you stroll through a lovely garden to the hotel. The property's relaxed and friendly tone makes the proprietors more welcoming. All five rooms have been meticulously built to provide comfortable accommodations. We planned in advance to eat dinner here on the Sunday evening we stayed here because there aren't many great restaurants open on Sunday evenings in central Asheville. We enjoyed supper after relaxing on the patio outside. Eric made some tasty fish for us, and I enjoyed a beef dish. We were even asked if we wanted bacon and eggs during breakfast. The eggs were chickens that were raised on the property, which is a rare breed. There is a pool and an indoor jacuzzi, despite the fact that we didn't use the amenities.

What a wonderful surprise. Behind the metal door in a not description side street the most beautiful garden and great building. Five rooms and a lovely lounge sitting area. Good breakfast and the only disappointment was that eric didn't cook that night. I will gladly stay there again.

We made reservations for a few nights after reading a magazine article. Such a lovely property has been lovingly restored by the current owners. Eric and his wife provide a discreet yet friendly service. Take advantage of the opportunity to dine when eric cooks a few times per week, it is an enjoyable experience. Breakfast is available at some of the best hotels, and eric even threw the most out of my celiac wife. A place to unwind while being enchanted by the rare breed chickens is the beautiful grounds with a lovely warm pool. The jacuzzi and sauna were most welcome and available in hours. We took advantage of the house bike and pedaled from the property to Saintvalerysursomme along the beautiful canal. Parking is plentiful and secure.
