Annemasse is perfect to stay close to Geneva, but paying so much less for accomodation and food than in Switzerland. This is right at the border of France and Switzerland but you don’t notice it when crossing. Few minutes walk to the train station. Trains to Geneva every 10-15 mins or less until very late at night. Clean and fairly quiet hotel with a kitchenette perfect for any meals, even cooking your dinners. The price is unbeatable. Simple and convenient option to stay by Geneva. Pay attention when you buy your train tickets from the machines. You should see a price of a bit above 4CHF from Annemass to Geneva. Different train companies have different rates and you could end up with a hefty ticket price otherwise. Use the touch screen red machines for buying your train tickets.

Propre et confortable, sauf qu'il fait beaucoup trop chaud dans la chambre et qu''on ne peut pas controler la temperature. C'est clairement dû à un problème de conception du batiment. Plancher chauffant donc quand on veut de l'eau fraiche au robinet de la cuisine, elle coule tiède et est enfin fraiche après 2 bonnes minutes. Les tuyaux doivent passer par le plancher chaud. Le personnel est très serviable et aimable. Il y a quelqu'un à la réception même tard le soir. Le nettoyage est réalisé chaque jour et correctement.

Very decent hotel close to train station. Room was good and spacious enough considering the price. One area of improvement that I can suggest is to start breakfast at 6am or 6.30am instead of 7am. We paid for breakfast but couldn't have it as our train was at 7.15. atleast in summer they can start breakfast at 6am
