As other travelers have noted...if you come from the Republique train station, you may be questioning your decision as you are walking to the hotel. There is a lot of "culture" at that station, depending on the time of day. Just ignore it and keep going. The hotel is lovely and has the sweetest people at the front desk. They helped order our taxi for our trip back to CDG on our return trip home (make sure to order it the day before you need to leave). If you walk toward the Marais district, you'll find lovely restaurants all along the way, but you won't pay Marais district prices for this hotel. The room is very clean and has all the typical amenities of a European hotel (specifically, no washcloths and a shower with no door that gets water everywhere...that's just how the showers are in Europe). Overall, we were so pleased at this location for the price we needed to be at (we needed a room for 3 people). Close to Arts de Métiers, and Republique train stations where you'll need to use the Metro. The breakfast is worth it only if you need to eat early (which we did on our Versailles day...the rest of the days, I would recommend eating elsewhere). It was a true continental breakfast with toast, croissants, and machine coffee. Fine when you're in a pinch, but there are other great breakfast places if you can wait until 7am when they open (specifically, Le Sancerre and Café de la Mairie on Rue de Archives & Rue de Bretagne).

Had a wonderful stay here, close to restaurants cafes. We opted out of the breakfast because there are so many options close by . My only question was it shows there is a bar as an amenity and it was not open during our stay. It did not detract from our time there. Would definitely stay again.

It’s a three star hotel, and for that it was great: clean, comfortable and affordable. Didn’t try the breakfast but it looked good. The single room was perfect with a nicely sized bathroom. As I was there for business, the place was perfectly located, very comfortable and the lovely day-receptionist was probably the nicest and most genuine hotel staff member I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. When I come back for business I will absolutely book here again, although I saw many happy families there too 👍

何よりパリらしいホテルです。何処に行くにも、地下鉄・バス・歩き…交通網はOK　（ノートルダムまでは、余裕で歩けます）冷蔵庫・バスタブは無し。空調は、ちょっと寒かった。でも、スタッフは最高。温かいシャワーもたっぷり。眼の前のビストロとOmusubi屋が美味しい。　裏にモノプリかあります。

Beau coin de Marais, a pleasure to walk through the doors of this beautiful building. Room well-sized, very clean, bathroom same. Views from 6th windows spectacular. The day time manager is helpful, pleasant with answers to all of our needs.

As a solo traveller it was such a joy to be greeted so warmly at the hotel. My room was impeccably clean, really comfortable bed and great shower too. The staff were always cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel felt like a second home to come back to each evening and the location is perfect. I will be back as soon as I can and would recommend to every9one.
