Just stayed for one night in October. The manager was very helpful, the evening meal was delicious, and the pool was a comfortable place to unwind. You won't get an indoor pool in French Guyana because it's warm enough outside. The outlook over the garden is better. The neighborhood around the hotel is residential so it's calm at night. A short drive from downtown Cayenne.

I would still recommend the location, it's nothing special, but in comparison to the competition and for that price, it's a good choice to spend one or two nights. You must travel to Cayenne. Are the novels completely booked? Are you on a tight budget. Next, stay at La Chaumiere, a nice, private place with a country feel, and friendly staff. The rooms are simple but well kept, the pool is small but clean, with space to rest in a lovely park, and the restaurant is nice, although the food is very average. You don't usually come here for tourism, because the service is fast, and the beer is cold! The drawback is that there is no serious internet. The connection doesn't allow you to use a van. Ask for rooms upstairs, they feel less safe downstairs, however, I did notice the military police, but I ask for the upstairs rooms and the lower floor rooms feel less secure.

The location of this property is good, as the property description is a bit mismatched but it is nice to stay in this property. The price here is not worth it at all. The garden is nice, however it needs maintenance. The swimming pool is good and clean.

We stayed 7 nights, off and on, based on our varied travels in woods, marshes, rivers, etc. It was always wonderful to return to our chaumière where the atmosphere is quiet, the decor is very natural, and there is a lovely tropical garden that you can see around you from the pool, your room, or the restaurant. The cuisine is typical french and creole, and the menu is wide enough.
