Overall, a very pleasant stay, with lots of fun swimming in the lovely, clean lake at all hours of the day. The location was excellent, literally a few minutes walk from the lovely they lake. The lake is in a valley and is surrounded by mountains, resulting in a lovely scene to be enjoyed from one's balcony. The staff was all very friendly, particularly the breakfast waiters. Breakfast was a typical cold buffet with cereal, hams and cheeses, bread, yogurt, and fruit. The room we stayed in was very spacious and long, and the balcony was very long. The room was furnished with 1940 s period furniture, which was an acquired taste, and the floors were very creaky because they were the original floors, but this added to the charm of the place.

This is a very traditional Bavarian inn with traditional furnishings. If you want a traditional vacation just around the thumb you have found the perfect place.
