Bekväm säng, vänlig receptionist, buss från stationen stannade precis utanför hotellet. REWE matbutik fanns 11 min promenad från hotellet. Prisvärt.

Me hospedé en este hotel y la verdad superó mis expectativas. Es un lugar sencillo, ideal si lo que buscas es un sitio para dormir, pero cumple muy bien. El personal es excelente, todos fueron muy amables y hablan inglés, lo cual facilitó mucho la comunicación. El cuarto estaba limpio, con agua caliente y buena presión en la regadera. No es un hotel de lujo, pero tiene lo necesario: te dan una llave física de la habitación, y si llegas después de las 10:30 p.m. te proporcionan un código para ingresar por otra puerta, ya que el lobby cierra. Un detalle a considerar es que no tiene elevador y solo ofrecen body wash y jabón de manos. La ubicación es práctica: a unos 30-35 minutos caminando de lo más turístico de Berlín, con una estación de metro a 3 cuadras y una parada de autobús a una cuadra. Cerca hay supermercados (Rewe), farmacias y restaurantes. Afuera incluso hay un cajero Euronet que acepta tarjetas internacionales. El edificio es viejo y está junto a un strip club, pero en ningún momento tuve problemas con ruido ni con la gente que frecuenta ese lugar. La zona es segura y bastante conveniente. Por el precio que pagué y comparado con lo que esperaba por algunos comentarios, la experiencia fue muy positiva. Lo recomiendo si buscas algo práctico, económico y bien ubicado para recorrer la ciudad.

Hotel was fine - staff was super friendly, transport is extremely convenient. Though the hotel itself is very old and some of the stairwells and walls have a bit of age on it. its actually alright in cleanliness. pretty cheap as well so thats a plus

Everything was OK for this price. The hotel is located between two nightclubs, so there are some noises every night.The receptionists were very helpful and the rooms were averagely clean and equipped. After all, I would like to recommend this place for those, who only want to sleep there and go around in Berlin and not for those, who have big expectations for accommodation.

The Alper Hotel was a perfectly good cheap place to stay when touring around Berlin. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and the room was clean and basic. It's not the nicest area in Berlin, but very central. There's a bus stop literally in front of the hotel -- two buses (at least) go through every 10 minutes or so that will take you all the way to Alexanderplatz if you want, and certainly to Potsdamer Platz, from where you can get any place in the city. It's an old hotel, and accommodations basic. But the linens were clean and exactly the same as those at the Leonardo. Great spot for cheap breakfast on the opposite corner, and the hotel across the way has an awesome organic bar and Skandinavian chef for dinner. The hallways did smell a bit of bug spray, and there were some fruit flies hanging out in the bathroom and around the window. But if that's the worst I can say about it...
