excellent location, infront of Charlottenburg train station. abundance of eating places around. Internet is a bit slow... elevators do not go on all floors, travelling light is something to look at.

"Freundlicher Rezeptionist, der bei der Ankunft alles geklärt hat. Die Zimmer sind sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Einziger Minuspunkt: Der Boden im Flur ist aus altem Holz, und wenn jemand darüber läuft, hat man im Zimmer das Gefühl, als würde gleich jemand hereinkommen, weil das Knarren auch im Inneren spürbar ist. Ansonsten war alles fantastisch."

This is an old fashioned hotel, but with rooms that were just what a wanted. Affordable, cozy, and clean. It is right across the street from the S Bahn station, so it's very easy to get to. My only complaint is that I knew I would have heavy luggage, so I made sure to choose a hotel with an elevator. But the elevator stops at intermediate levels, so you still have to go up or down a half flight of stairs to get to your room.

Art Hotel is a nice hotel. While the decor is creative (because of the art theme), you still get the feeling that this hotel is a bit dated. With that said, it is comfortable, functional, and has a great location. My particular room did not have a "do not disturb" sign, and the service workers entered my room while I was showering. I had to make a sign myself, but then they added a sign to my door afterwards. I also did not know if the water in the room was free or if it was a way to secretly get 3 € out of their guests, so I did not drink it. But I would stay at this place again. The staff is friendly, the tea selection is nice, and the premises are decent. The WiFi is REALLY bad (almost non-functional)!

Trivsamt hotell med utmärkt läge i Charlottenburg. Lätt att nå från Tegels flygplats. Buss nr 109 stannade vid en hållplats strax runtom hörnet vid hotellet. Alldeles utmärkta förbindelser med centrala Berlin. Tyst och lugnt område. Rymligt familjerum med sköna sängar, dock var tv-n lite besvärlig men med hjälp av muntliga instruktioner från receptionen ordnade det sig. Utmärkt och tillräcklig frukost för 11 euro. Kaffe och te fanns tillgängligt (gratis) i ett separat rum.

Easy access to and from Tegal airport. Very close to major railway station and bus routes making movement very easy. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars, nearby to suit all tastes. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel has everything one needs and some plus some really good prints all through the hotel.

Ich habe das Hotel vor allem wegen der günstigen Lage direkt neben der S-Bahn und der Bushaltestelle nach Tegel gebucht und war sehr positiv überrascht, ein überaus hübsches, sympathisches und individuelles Boutique Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Service zu finden. Jeder Gang hat einen berühmten Maler als Thema und mein Einzelzimmer war im japanischen Stil eingerichtet. Zimmer und Bad waren tadellos sauber und komfortabel und hatten eine ordentliche Grösse für den Preis. Wifi war gut. Ich komme gerne wieder!

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the 'City Cube' convention center in Western Berlin. Once I became familiar with the metro system I saw I could get from the hotel to the convention center in just 6 minutes. The hotel is located in a very nice, quite, picturesque and familial neighborhood (Charlottenburg) full of restaurants which offer local and international food at reasonable prices. The hotel has friendly staff which assists the traveler even if he/she is not fluent in German. Breakfast (buffet type) was tasteful and varied and the morning staff at the dining room was very friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were always clean. Perhaps the only factor that could be improved would be the quality of the Wi-Fi system since communication through social networks was intermittently interrupted. Otherwise, it is a pleasant place to stay. Since it was early October, there was no need to adjust the thermostat. The close proximity to the metro system, across the street, gave me the chance to commute to downtown Berlin and other nice places of the city including the Zoo area and the great park (Tiergarten) that leads to Brandenburg gate. Overall, it is a good hotel with close proximity to the Tegel airport and I believe I would return to it should the opportunity to return to Berlin knocks again. My personal score (from 1 to 5 points, being 5 the best score) would be 4.5.
