We spent six nights in the klosterhof hotel following a shearing trip. The hotel was pleasant, a short stroll from several gasthofs and beautiful biergartens in the village of Neukirchen. Also nearby are two supermarkets and a lovely church. A couple of banks with ATMs are also close to the motel. When making reservations, you will be given a free bus ticket that you may use throughout your stay, but be aware that buses are seldom available. We requested a ground floor room with a walkin shower, which was provided in accordance with request, although the shower door opening gap was quite small and I just got through, so I would assume that a larger person would find it difficult if not impossible to enter the shower cubicle. We had a comfortable bed in the spacious, spotless room because it was on the ground floor. For one night, we were treated to bread and butter pudding, albeit with cold custard. Strangely, we were assigned a separate room for meals as part of a shearings trek. When I don't understand why, it would have been much easier for everyone to eat and interact with the dining room because it featured a huge sign stating shearings on the door. Since there wasn't anywhere to sit in our room, I wouldn't blame the Germans for making an

Overall, a terrific, reasonable trip in a terrific location in a tidy, comfy hotel. Our stopover for a shears vacation was this. Very cozy and immaculately tidy. There was a good assortment of food both for breakfast and dinner, but none of it was to everyones taste. I had no trouble finding anything to eat in the evening, though I wasnt anticipating English food as some people seemed to think it should be. It was typical German food at a hotel with primarily German guests, and it was generally germanic in a hotel with mostly German visitors. The addition of a hospitality tray in the rooms would be a thing I could change, although the pillows would be too stiff and uncomfortable.

The room is enormous. Two beds are put together to form a very comfortable king size bed, a table and two chairs, a huge sofa bed, a cabinet with a top, and a double wardrobe. A shared terrace with a table and two chairs. The bathroom has everything you need, the shower is fantastic, and there is a crack in the sink, but nothing serious. When we arrived, the room was clean. We enjoy the food, there is always something to eat, even if the combinations are a bit unusual to English palates. If you go above and beyond, you are German! Google Translate helps, and yes, we can use free WiFi in our room which is located on the opposite end of the hotel from the reception. There isnt much around. Cannot see why people rant, but have you noticed that those who complain are always at the front of the line for food and ai beverages. If thats what they anticipate, maybe they should book 5 star holidays for 5 star rates. Believe me, we have some of these on our coach, so if we complain, it will get them a compensation towards their next holiday.

The hotel is in the village itself. It was always immaculately clean and very comfortable. The rooms are above average with a large bed and lots of hot water. But there is only one word for the food, and it's awful. This is not to blame for the German meal but rather the fact that everything was hot, bland, and bland. The German guests were segregated from the English, which resulted in them and us feeling as if the Germans came out on top. The desserts were nothing but angel delight in a different color each night. Not a different flavour, just a different color! Queuing was another story. Try to have upwards of 150 people rushing to one buffet, your worst coach trip nightmare. The organization could have been much better. We were all inclusive for drinks, etc., but this ended at rp at night, so once dinner was finished and you were ready for a drink, you had to pay. Another issue was the lack of information in any other language other than german.

The hotel provides a pool on site, but I can't use it. I stay at this hotel on a shearing holiday. The hotel serves buffet-style breakfast and dinner. The food is generally good.
