A lovely hotel with friendly staff. A beautiful garden where you can enjoy food and drinks. Large rooms with old but maintained interior. The breakfast was good with lots of varied choices. The fitness room was small with only 2 machines, cycle and eclipse machines.

The hotel is very good. The bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms good, and breakfast generous and varied. There is parking and a garden outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is not much around and it's a pretty rundown area just outside the city center on a tram route, but we used taxis, which became a bit expensive. Old city center, tourist sites and the main railway station are all within easy reach of it. Would recommend as central hotels were more expensive.

The hotel was very enjoyable to stay at, the DDR Suite was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The street in which it is located is very peaceful and has good public transportation links. It is very near to leipzig Central station.

I didn't appreciate the fact that the hotel is not situated in the most fashionable area, but there were some nice people here and there at night, it just didn't bother me. I must say that the breakfast was not very nice. They served a very nice meal. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent too.

In December, I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was pleasantly pleased with the service. It seems somewhat antiquated at first glance, but the room was roomy, with a complete bathtub and hairdryer. The bed was too soft for my taste, but thats just a minor complaint on my part. The breakfast bar, which is open starting at 610, serves a typical European breakfast with a wide variety of cheeses and sliced meats. The coffee wasnt great, but it was strong enough to start your day, which is the most crucial quality. At every time, the staff was courteous and helpful. If youre looking for affordable lodging without extras, this might just be for you.
