We stayed here on our way to Austria. Great little motel in a great position with a nice terrace. Checked in and was offered a bike in the secure garage, rooms were clean and tidy, good shower, comfortable bed, dinner in the hotel well prepared and delicious, reasonably priced. Breakfast was as you would expect in the region, with many options, staff were efficient. We loved our stay here and would stay again if in the area.

My husband and I came to the motel on a very rainy day on a motorcycle. We were met in the parking lot and directed to the garage where we were to leave our motorcycles with the offer to dry our wet motorcycle gear. Parking is abundant and dry and there are tools, screen cleaner, oil etc. for customers to use, we left with a sparkling motorcycle. The hotel is a very real black forest, the view from our balcony was incredible and very peaceful. The town of oppenau is not a good distance for food, but the hotel restaurant is very strongly recommended. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Good hot shower. Great breakfast and great service. English spoken. We only stayed for one night because I was on a tour, but I really liked this hotel and would have liked to stay longer. Good proximity to the b 500, allerheiligen waterfall, and mummelsee.

Highly recommend staying here. My husband and I had a great time during our stay. The gentleman who waited on us in the restaurant was quite pleasant and helpful and always greeted us by name. The room was spacious and comfortable and could have sat outside on our private balcony if it had been warmer. Everything was spotless. There was a wide variety of breakfast choices in a buffet manner.

This is a fantastic hotel. Warmly received. A lovely and cozy room and delicious meals. If you're riding a motorcycle, this hotel is perfect. Wet kit drying area. A safe garage workshop and even tools for you to use if your bike requires a halt. You should not visit this part of the world, especially on a motorcycle, if so, you're owe it to yourself. Oh, and did I mention the unrestricted autobahn nearby? 150 mph, heaven in motion.

We spent a night in this hotel, and everything was perfect. It was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony facing the forest. Breakfast was excellent. The proprietors are a kind family. There are plenty of free parking spaces. Great local beer and tasty dishes at affordable prices. A very quiet and peaceful location from which you can see the forest and waterfalls. 5 minute drive from Oppenau, small and charming town.
