In July, we went to Simmerweissbrau with 40 music students and 5 staff. It must have been a bit overwhelming, especially given the varied diets and age groups. But it was very well run, and the amount of compromises Karl simmer made for us made it a truly special visit.

The owner was incredibly friendly, which is why I love family-run hotels more than hotel chains. I spent a night at the Hotel Slovenweissbrau in March 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I received a sizable and well-appointed room. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed is comfortable. Wifi is free and functions efficiently. Had dinner at the nearby restaurant, which was delicious. The breakfast was included and tasty. felt like home. I spent 42 euros and received excellent value for the money.

We stopped at the winery at Sweeßbrau while riding a bike with pals along the Innradweg. Here we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of this family-run hotel, the neat rooms with comfortable beds, the garage for our beloved bicycles, and the cheerful breakfast. We never have to worry about our budgets.

The tiny family gasthof is located in the heart of Simba town and offers rooms and a restaurant. The landlady welcomed us well when we arrived late by bike and soon set up the formalities and let us park the bikes in a locked garage. We had dinner at the gasthof restaurant and were pleased with the delicious wiener schnitzel accompanied by local beer for a very affordable price. After that, we slept soundly in the traditional Africa room decorated like a guest house in southern Africa.
