I would book again as a solemn stop, but I would bring earplugs. We booked this hotel because it was along the route of our journey, had free parking, and appeared to be in a small town and was easy to locate. Well it wasnt easy to find and we had to ask a few people before we found a route that crossed the railway lines. It is on the opposite side of the tracks to the small town, but very close as we eventually discovered slipping roads onto roads. The hotel is on a trading estate next to the railroad station. It is quite quiet in this area, but large but very long freight trains run all night, and I was frequently awoken by the continuous noise. This is not the fault of the hotel. I am light sleepers so our windows had to be open. Keep this in mind when booking as it may not be a problem for others. Our room was excellent, very large, airy, and bright. The sofa soaked, I think, and the bathroom was a very good size with all the essential toiletries. Breakfast, which was included in our booking, was a large spread of the usual buffet, but most of the meats, etc. were organic. The morning receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke better English than me. She helped us find the internet when we had trouble trying to make a reservation. As the restaurant next

Wonderful new hotel with roomy rooms, cleanliness, and tidy decor. Beautifully decorated with solid wood cabinets, beds, tables, and mattresses. The bathroom is lovely with its attractive layout, many power sockets, an efficient plan, and a delicious and varied breakfast, but not a good place for light sleepers. I woke up frequently at night as massive freight trains traveled through the nearby train station.

I stayed here for one night. The hotel is close to a road and an industry. If you close your windows, noise levels are very limited, so no problem at all. The room where I stayed was quite big and comfortable. Even though the bed seemed hard, I slept well on it. The staff was very nice and helpful. I arrived late and the key was in a special box to be opened with a password, previously sent via email. Excellent.

We stayed here for one night. The personnel is very friendly and professional. Our room in the adjoining building I was clean, well equipped, and very spacious, with large wood furniture and comfortable mattresses. The bathroom was spotless clean, new, with many different toiletries. Breakfast self service with good selection of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, pots of marmalade, butter, cold meats, cheese, juices, tea and coffee. The only downside of the hotel was its proximity to the railway line, which can disturb sleep, but that is nothing to complain about.
