het was voor ons de tweede keer dat we te gast waren in Hotel Fritz in Valwig. de eerste keer was voor de verbouwing . met toch ook een zeer goede referentie Deze tweede keer (na verbouwing)is in alles een vooruitgang gebleken Een hotel om aan te bevelen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fritz. The hotel is older, but very clean and quaint. The service is fabulous, and the restaurant and breakfast are excellent.

We reserved 3 nights in advance with breakfast and dinner included, as well as a winetasting that was very nice in the hotel, a bottle of prosecco, and a welcome drink. Overall, for 198 euros for 2 people! That is truly very little! Plus, the value offered for that amount is extremely excellent, clean, and even spacious rooms with double bathrooms with showers, an extra room wintergardenstyle, a flyscreen that is small but totally adequate, and a large terrace with a bench and some lawn. Plus, they offer a stunning view of the river model. All of the cuisine, which is self service from the buffet, is delicious and fresh! We always stay here again. The only small inconvenience we experienced was that the server kept forgetting what she wanted to provide. Although you got a newly written beer that was very good, it may take 20 minutes! Or the bill for the drinks that you had for dinner. Overall, a wonderful stay and a lovely region. Tip: Start a journey on the model in coaches, a lovely tiny village that is truly remodeled in the medieval era with few hundred inhabitants, and the marketplace dates back to the century that one can imagine, it's a bit like stepping through a fairy tale. Don't skip that if you walk the few tiny streets there or trundle up the

This hotel is recommended by anyone looking for a lovely and quiet place to stay near the model. The hotel is close to model 50. Coaches are the next larger town at around 3 am. Buses travel once an hour. The hotel as a whole, including our room, was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was above average I would say. Also, the hotel has a great fish restaurant. One of the beds in our room was quite old and uncomfortable. The furniture was a little old and lovable. Yet, overall, I can recommend this hotel.

Overall, I would suggest it and will return. We stayed at this hotel for a weekend, and this property offers outstanding value for the money. Given the reviews, I wasn't expecting much given our groupon reservation. The visit, however, left me wanting more. The room was enormous and newly updated, and the staff was courteous and professional. It had a tiny balcony, and the river view was admirable. We were provided with half board, and the meals were buffet-style but well-presented and delicious. On the evening we first arrived, there was a wine tasting and a distillery visit from the neighborhood distillery. The coaches are approximately a 5-minute drive from the hotel, making it a major tourist destination on the model from Trier to Koblenz. The hotel was very unimpressive. Having comfortable and comfortable clothing, excellent wifi, easy parking in front, and numerous extras, such as wine tasting and distillery visits to stunning locations on the model and a bike path, it was a terrific location. A small tip for improvement would be to add a few minor detail. Based on motion, the restroom light operates a short-term timer. I'd likely switch it off or add a switch to give visitors the option to turn off the motion sensor function. If the light is not detected, it automatically goes off in about ten seconds.

To compare the best, we got two accommodations. One of the rooms had very small windows, sticky air, and no air conditioning, so we chose the other room, which had the same sticky air, but a bigger window. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything happening in the other room. Our head was close to our neighbours bathroom, so every time they went to the bathroom, I felt like I was there! And at night, some other guests woke up friends by speaking very loudly, I had the impression it was in our room. As previously stated, it was a sleepless night, but the breakfast was good and the proprietor was very friendly.

Het twee persoons bed op kamer 30 is te laag voor ouderen. Het is gemakkelijk op te lossen door het bed te verhogen door de vier poten van het bed op blokken te zetten. De spiegel in de badkamer hangt veel te hoog en is onbruikbaar voor personen die 170 cm lang zijn. De douche bodem is glad en kan aanleiding geven tot het uitglijden tijdens het douchen en het in/uit stappen van de douche ruimte. Voorstel voor een oplossing, leg een ruwe mat in de doucheruimte om uitglijden te voorkomen. Verder een uitstekend verblijf gehad in Hotel Fritz en hoop volgend jaar weer een aantal dagen in Hotel Fritz te verblijven.
