Spacious, airy rooms set in beautiful gardens. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Receptionist very helpful in recommending local sites. Generous breakfast in pleasant surroundings; waiter extremely friendly and charming.

I had a very pleasant time at this hotel. I was on my to Poland from the UK and chose this hotel to spend one night as a break from the journey... The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered to make me tea ( I had a thermal flask - they topped it up for me) and gave me a bottle of water for me to take on the journey... and the breakfast was superb...The rooms are lovely and clean and the air conditioning is really quiet, so I had a fantastic night's sleep. Really recommend.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel Kocks übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der Innenstadt und der Ruhr, so dass viele Orte wie die Stadthalle fussläufig erreichbar sind. Vom Hotelpersonal sind wir freundlich empfangen worden, das Zimmer entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung, war sauber und ruhig. Allein die Matratzen waren uns (Normalgewichtes) zu hart, so dass die Qualität des Schlafs für uns etwas eingeschränkt war. Reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstücksbüffet.

The value for the money is excellent because the breakfast buffet is available with many options. The rooms are large, comfortable, quiet, and has good wifi. The employees here were very professional and were nice.

It was great to stay here. The service staff was very nice and polite. The service is very good, the break fast is amazing, and the location is close to anywhere on foot without a car.

We stayed here for one night at a nearby castle brooch event. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very recently renovated and is located near the river, near tram and subway stations. Fitness room and sauna are small but spotless, with a tastefully decorated resting area. We will definitely stay there again.

I would highly recommend this hotel for business travelers. The wifi is good and walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The gym room and sauna are small, but I will only forget the jacuzzi. The employees were very nice and helpful.

It's close to the lessen and therefore very convenient when visiting the mess. It's quite easy to find on the opposite side of the rur. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the bathrooms are in excellent condition. The sauna and other amenities are clean and well maintained. Parking and wifi are free, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place, fantastic breakfast, and extremely lovely and helpful staff. Unfortunately we were there in a heatwave and the air conditioning was limited, but that's not their fault -- that's climate change.
