My room was in the annex, and although it was very large essentially it was a small suite, it was a fairly simple one. Clean, however, and everything functioned. The restaurant certainly feels like it was in Italy, but again, it may have been more welcoming if it had been there. The food was good, definitely above average, but was marred by slow service and we gave up on dessert because they seemed more interested in local customers in front of the restaurant. The breakfast was better, and the manager gave us more of the welcome we had expected. But I would probably resist.

It was a nice old building. We had the largest room on this trip. The room was clean and well-equipped. The typical German breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to town and the restart of the residence. There are many restaurants in the area, including the hotel restaurant.

In the afternoon the front desk is closed, but the breakfast buffet is decent and average. I would have loved to eat there. The rooms are very Italian and hospital style. The shower might be a little bigger, but it's enough for a work trip.

I chose this hotel because it's close to the main restaurant and close to the front door. We stayed in this hotel for a night as part of our shine river cycling tour. We locked our bicycle in an outdoor seat in an inner courtyard since there isn't a designated bicycle storage garage. Our journey note didn't mention this, we arrived at 400 pm, and the front desk is unattended. At 500 pm, a staff member arrived and made us access to our room. It was one of seven quite large rooms, one of which was arranged around a small courtyard. The room had a huge open fire, a massive open fireplace, a ceiling made of wood, and frescoes on the wall for decoration. The bed was huge and cozy. We were extremely thankful for the excellent oil heater since it allowed our wet gear to dry overnight. Until 70 p.m., our luggage wasn't delivered, and the employees made every effort to contact our biking tour company and see if the bike courier was located. Although the inside smoke detector had been removed and relocated to the ceiling area just outside the front door, we were a little concerned. A large selection of vintage wine bottles were used in the breakfast space. The brunch selection was quite straightforward. We did leave our mobile phone charger and international adaptor converter in our room, but the employees discovered this and made us send

The hotel and restaurant are very old but they have a long tradition. The food is very fresh and delicious and authentic Italian in the restaurant. The service is very friendly and open for a conversation. The room in the hotel is big but still needs renovation.
