We reserved this hotel for Octoberfest in May. At the time, it was demonstrating as the most reasonably priced option that was on the So train line to München and close to the airport. Fortunately! A x-hour bus from freaking to langenbach is available, but the hassle comes when arriving from freaking to langenbach. This can be done by train, which stops at langenbach only once every two hours on weekends. I found myself longingly gazing at mercury and another nearbytheairports chain and wondering how much they had cost when I made my reservation in May. One was within walking distance of the airport, and the second most certainly had an airport shuttle. We ended up needing a 20 euro taxi for those last 10 kilometers. On Saturday night, while we were traveling to Oktoberfest, we were confused about the frequency of weekend trains, and another family of six was left standing on the rails for an hour! Thankfully, we returned to the hotel and kindly prepared and explained the train schedule. Nevertheless, when we arrived bedraggled, we were not sure about the sis that would have detailed the freaking to langenboch train. The hotel is around a 7 minute walk from the langenboch station, which can also be a pain in harsh weather. At around 7:30, there is a grocery store nearby where we could grab a picnic to

It was great food, great beer, amazing hospitality, and the room was very clean. We were on the way to collect a broken vehicle left over from the week before. We never had a reservation, but we were welcomed, fed in typical Bavarian fashion and treated very well. Thanks a lot. Definitely come back.
