What a beautiful surprise! I can't wait to return. I have a unique idea around each corner, a beautiful theme, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The theme ran through each room with amusing images of artwork.

I wish I could give this hotel a higher rating. This wasn't your typical motel, and we loved that each room had a different theme. The entire hotel is themed around magic and optical illusions. The interior is a bit of a maze of rooms, with everything from a hall of mirrors to a myescher stairwell, a dungeon in the basement, and a room in a cave. This would be the home of the mad hatter, and we loved how unique the hotel was. There were sculptures popping out of the walls, and instructions for creating your own optical illusion of a person coming out of a hat. What a wonderful stay. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We went for a walk around the hotel along a river and through the country. We were also able to walk to dinner. Parking was simple, free, and secure. There was also free wi-fi.

A fantastic, intriguing and unusual hotel. There are just a few rooms, so personalized care. Magic is associated with each room's decoration. There is a lot of interesting information to discover. The ambiance was amazing, and we loved it. There was a really considerate welcome, a tidy, roomy bedroom, a decent continental breakfast, and great value for the money. We did not get dinner on Monday night, but a nearby pizza restaurant offered a viable option. Magic presentations are scheduled on certain weekends and are scheduled well in advance while we were there.

I loved staying at this hotel. It's a modern, clean, comfortable hotel with outdated standards for friendly and faultless service. All the employees are truly dedicated to making you have a great time and a pleasant stay. The hotel zum Zauberkabinett is a pleasure. If you get a chance to stay there, I strongly suggest it. The owners, Aleks and Connie, are truly wonderful people who will make you feel more than welcome. The rooms are all really nice, clean, roomy, modern, and cozy. The location is superb. Bad Heilbrunn is a peaceful, beautiful, calm setting for lodging, perfectly framed by the mountains, and the ideal base for planning excursions, walks, and hikes. Theres plenty of breathtaking scenery to explore in each direction! Alex is a wonderful, generous host and cook as well! The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and impeccable. The hotel is themed around magic, mystery, and illusion, as the name suggests. Theres even a table and set of chairs on the restaurant ceiling! You can enjoy special magic shows at the hotel with your evening meal. Alex will explain how everything works. These shows are extremely entertaining and well worth seeing.

I booked a room here because bad tell was expensive. But it was a wise decision. Our young daughter loved the fun magic decorations and the staff was helpful and friendly. Quiet, good parking, but only a few places close by and very close to bad tell. I will stay here again.
